So those completely replace your coil springs in the back but limit you to 2”? Kind of like the Accuair kit? This is a new one on me.

The CRM replaces the coils and is available in 0”, 2” or4” lift. The ASAM replaces the bump stops and is helper only. I believe it has longer bags available and a few guys have modified the lower mount to accommodate more flex.

Ok so you could have 4” air “coils” in the rear and a regular type suspension setup in the front. That sounds kind of like a win win. Decrease the pressure while on trail and I’d see no reason why these wouldn’t flex as good as run of the mill coil springs.

Timbren was an option when I got the airlift springs. The only reason that I didn't go with Timbren is because it mounts to the axles. The airlift springs sit in a cup. I can deflate the bags and still rock crawl like they aren't even there. They work perfect with my 3.5" lift because my lift my bump stop plate is removed which means the bags don't touch when deflated and it maintains the normal, stiff as hell, lift kit ride.🤣🤣 I have air springs on my Ram as well and they mount to the axles. Nothing wrong with that setup at all as it seems like timbren has a great product. But, because of my uses, I just didn't want that type of mounting setup for my jeep. That's only the situation for MY jeep. If not for that, I would've went with Timbren.
timbrens mount in the factory bump stop location on the frame side, not on the axle

I know. Kept getting timber Grove and timbren confused because he the spelling is closely related.

See previous comment.

I have the Timber Grove CRM Coil Replacement Mount
https://timbergroveenterprises.com/shop/19-up-jeep-gladiator-s-4-lift-crm-axle-mounts-sq4331060
Controlled with the Airlift Wireless Air dual bag controller and the wireless air tank upgrade. Allows me to keep the ride height I want for any weight load.

I was just talking to Steve @TimberGrove. He’s got me rethinking some things.
I’m guessing you’re completely happy with your Timber Grove experience?
Thanks

That’s a lot of money for $200 in Firestone airbags plus some metal

Yes I’m happy with them. The fit is great and I love having the ability to adjust for different weights in the bed and when towing a trailer. No saggy rear. The bags that he provides have 8.9” of travel from fully collapsed to fully extended so not for guys looking for max articulation. These bags have an internal bump stop, Firestone also sells a matching bag w/o internal bump stops which would give 9.6 max travel but they’re spendy so I decided to run the provided bags

What’s your experience with them?
Thanks
I only have Timber Grove Air Springs on my 2015 Ram EcoDiesel. The 2020 Ram EcoDiesel has the factory air suspension. Steve's customer service is second to none, and his products are top notch. I 100% recommend Timber Grove products.

Bds suspensions is coming out with a setup later this year. I love those guys, back in the day they left Rancho and started their own company.

Started their own company to become part of Fox Factory?
Doesn’t really matter. I’ve also liked their products over the years. Rancho had a lot of good guys back in day.

Thanks. I talked to Steve again today. Kinda confirmed what you said, however all the bags he uses have internal bumps. Safety feature in case the bags have no air, to protect the bag from sitting on itself.
I’m going to take more measurements this weekend, articulating and full droop. See if it will work with 12” travel shocks. It’s close.
I currently have 12” coil overs mounted in the factory shock location. Rides great with or without the trailer. Factory rack without the trailer. Trailer connected, drops 2/3”. Night time driving, I’m blinding everyone.
My concern is moving the weight carrying from outside the frame to inside the frame. Think I’ll loose a lot of side to side stability.
