I-5. likely a bum’s.so how many moms in the Target parking lot did you run over?
I mean seriously, where the F were you driving???
Awesome. I got my 37x12.5r17 MTs for a killer deal that was only live on 4WP for 2 days and had Discount Tire price match. MSRP of the MTs are $65 more per tire compared to the ATs to begin with and ordered mine a couple weeks ago for $345/tire! The MSRP was recently raised as well and are now $499/tire so I couldn't be happier with the deal I gotI got them in December from 4wp for $320 per tire, but it was a 1 day sale. 420 was the regular price at that time.

I have not mounted them yet but I will have plenty of miles on wet roads soon enough! I have read good things about them though. I figure they have to be better than my Super Swamper SSRs considering they are a modern tire with a silica compound...and I was very happy with my SSRsNice!!
Are you able to offer any info on how well the Baja MTs perform on road and on wet-roads? I like their looks for sure...might be an option for me considering AT wont be avail for good while.
Appreciate the thorough review. I have these on the way (35’s) and am interested to see what effect the weight has on the ride. Hoping the balance issues are not common.I decided to run the Mickey Thompson Boss A/T after looking at how aggressive they looked on a Mojave. On and off the last 4 years I have ran the Milestar Patagonia and the Cooper STT Pro on Jeeps in 37"s.
So far 37x12.50r17:
- 3 peak rated - So far they have lived up to the title on the road. Perhaps because of the AT style, they cross snow piles with ease on secondaries and freeways. I feel comfortable most of the time running slightly faster than the slow lane, but do yield occasionally back to that lane as other vehicles can zip past me. Ice - they are darned good, as I can easily stop faster than with the Pats and STTs.
- Deep Snow - Originally started at 10psi on some snow runs. Man it was a lot of work in 2 feet of snow. Gain 3-4 feet forward, backup, plow forward another 3-4 feet. Dropped the tires to 5 psi and what a huge difference. The only thing stopping me, was they guy I had to pull out behind me.
- Weight - Weighing in at 80lbs, you notice the difference. On 5.13 gears, the transmission downshifts more often and lost 2mpg over the Patagonias. That could be rolling resistance as well since the tire indeed have more contact. I don't appreciate the heaviness from these tires.
- Balance - This is the part I absolutely hate about these tires. At 65mph+ it feels like I am riding a horse. You can actually see the bed bouncing when I get on certain parts of the freeway. My local shop suspects some of the tires are defective from the factory and ordered another set.

Baja Boss AT LT275/70R18what size of tire you running?
Pic!Just ordered a set of 37s Baja Boss MTs from Discount Tire for a killer price (cheaper than the ATs with discount). They had about 18 of them in their Oregon warehouse.
Cheers
