Per SKF for the same type of bearings:

" However, initial lubrication followed by occasional relubrication of steel/PTFE FRP bearings can extend the service life of the bearing by a factor of two or more. The inner rings of radial bearings or shaft washers of angular contact and thrust bearings are coated with a lithium base grease before leaving the factory. "
I could see myself using these if they were greaseable. Every time I go to Rausch Creek. It seems that I end up going through about 2~3 ft of water. And I don't know how these do with water.

Stupidest thing I've ever seen.. it's uniball.. they have their place,.. it's on on race trucks.. mostly trophy, short course, etc. Would be a waste putting these on a road vehicle, they wear our 3 times as fast.. and you actually loose articulation with these "special" JT versions that are overpriced.

What do u mean by lose articulation? They wouldn’t affect anything but steering

I had a major malfunction..
Bro used them on his short course truck it's (IFS) and relates to the malfunction I was speaking to ;) and is the place for them. These have no weather seals and will wear on a daily driver fast, like 1 winter fast.. not sure I'd want these in my aluminum knuckles. One has to ask themselves are your balljoints failing or is there lots of story's of these things failing? Honestly the mopar as usual will be better than any off brand like synergy

Actually they are oring sealed and they seem to be getting considerably longer life than conventional single ended ball joints.

the mopar units have a plastic socket the metal ball rides in , they are designed to fail but give you a little more road isolation. It’s a consumable design.

Would be interested to see real lifespans. If not significantly longer than ball joints then why not spend the same on like a rebuildable dynatrac.

Just my engineering brain, Stronger design, not a single ended ball that can pull out and a 25$ hemispheric bearing if I need to rebuild it.
