No trimming necessary. Just fits under and is easy to remove when necessary. Good luck!

Appreciate that. It looks like you got plenty of clearance for it under the cover. I'm thinking my Tri-Fold will have enough as well. Looks good. Decisions now

I had an amp research bed extender on my 2018 Tacoma that I traded in. I emailed amp and they were like you can use it on the gladiator with a new ~$12 part. I feel like it might be shorter because it doesn’t seem to come close to where a cover would mount.

Sorry the pics are at night time, I can take some new ones or measure it, but I think it’s going to work when I get a cover.

I have installed the AMP Max Extender on my Sport S Max Tow with the factory soft roll up cover. Easy install and works great. Easy to remove when needed and fits under the factory cover. I will try and post a picture tomorrow. Recommend it!

I'm still trying to figure out if I can get one to work with a soft TRI Fold cover. If all i had to do was trim the legs a little I'd be good with that. There are a couple options on Amazon now, some of them under $200

Probably not what you are looking for, but if anybody ever carries a motorcycle of any sort, the ready ramp is pretty slick. It is a great ramp, AND it converts into a bed extender. I have seen lots of good reviews from gladiator owners. I did just buy the ramp, and it is in my garage. My ordered gladiator, however, is not in my possession yet, so I can't personally say. https://readyramp.com
