It's Funny sort of;

I'm 63 and wondering what I need to outfit my Gladiator with to go camping?

When I was young, I camped out of the back back of a '74 Chevy Vega GT.
I had an orange 5x7 A-frame tent from K-Mart that cost $17.00 (Big Money back then)

Man I had fun.

I struggle with the modern world.
LV,

ETA;
You guys have some seriously nice rigs!
I used to camp out of the back of a truck bed and it was great. Then one time a almost froze to death, and another time I woke up to a insane rain storm. I'm not much for ground tents unless I'm backpacking. A roof top tent is a game changer. It isn't as cold as being in a truck bed or being on the ground, you aren't at the mercy of a air matress that deflates half way through the night, and it keeps certain critters out of the tent. My only complaint with them is the wind drag on a vehicle, and it takes a while to pack them up. But its so worth it ?
