The link above notes the weight. Whether that is real weight or for liability, it isn't much.

I had that same concern so I reached out to them. They told me the bolts they use have a shear strength rating of 42,000 PSI and there are two bolts per mount. They assured me they have never had an issue with the bolts not holding up.Kinda my thoughts.
The bolt isn't the issue. The issue is all that weight is the right angle.I had that same concern so I reached out to them. I'm still leaning towards their set up this spring.
Are you able to open and close the bed cover or does it just have to stay closed all the time? And did you have to remove the rebel bed rack to install the bed cover?
The Access Literider is money. They make these specifically for people with Bed Racks. You need trail rails, but it mounts inside of the bed to the trail rails and doesn’t sit on or hardly overlap with the sidewall of the truck bed at all. I have a pretty easy time using mine with my rebel rack.
Cheers!

just got mine this weekend, they have a flat rate shipping program now and shipping was $10Well the platform only cost me $250 not including shipping, And I plan on using it to haul my Gazzel T4 plus ground tent and a luggage bag that will take up the remainder of the platform. Luggage bag for use in storing and hauling all of our sleeping bags, cots, and a bunch of other items.
