list it for sale for $1000 more than that wherever is logistically prudent

Bought my 2020 JTR with only 15,000 miles and sold them my 2012 2 door JK manual. Made a lot over what I paid for the JK and got the JTR just before the prices started rocketing up. Sold my '2014 GMC 2500HD Denali at the same time for every dollar I paid for it 6 years before - SCREAMING deal, which made me splurge on the Rubicon.

Do you have the title in hand?

I ask because if you do, you will get the most money selling it "at retail" to another person.


But if you don't' have the title and don't' have the funds to get the title then you need to sell it to a dealer or Carvana or something like that.

Well, you don't have to. But it is very difficult to get a buyer to give you 30 k to pay off the loan and then they have to wait weeks for the title before they can pick it up and register it.
