Is your Sunrider in Black Diamond vinyl or Black Twill? The Softopper is made with PVC sailcloth and you can get it in black, grey, or tan. Given it sailcloth it will most closely match the black diamond sunrider (also PVC coated sailcloth).

We haven't done any of our Supertop for Truck products in black twill (only black diamond) so if you do have a black diamond Sunrider the soft top is going to look a little different regardless.

Yes - Softopper has it's own engineering team and there will be differences from what Bestop will deliver. We won't just be rebranding the other's product and selling it as our own.

As for the materials the Black Diamond should be a close match to the OEM soft top in the same material.

And just to be clear so there is no confusion - we don't have dates on when pre-orders and shipping for the Supertop for Truck - Gladiator might get started. That said I'll provide updates as soon as the dates start to firm up and we're confident they can be met. We've got a bunch of products baking in the oven for the JL/JT platform as well as other vehicles

I just took ownership of my new Gladiator Sport, and had planned on waiting until the perfect soft camper shell is available in the aftermarket. Reading through this thread, It looks like your team have a lot of customer demands to try to balance, so I won't muddy the waters with too many votes and desires,
BUT,
Its important to me that the topper match the soft top as closely as is economically feasible for your company. To that end, what are the odds the topper will be available in Premium Twill?
If nil, what are the odds some willing DIYers like myself would be able to purchase the premium twill fabric by the yard?

The Supertop for Truck - Gladiator is still quite a bit out in the future so we can't address what fabrics it might be offered in. That said we'll keep this in mind as we start working out logistics on materials, costs, etc.

I don’t know how it wouldn’t be- the decked system doesn’t go anywhere near the bed rails. The combination definitely offers some nice features.
