Trying to decide between these 2 tires.
Have a sport max tow coming in white. Dealer is doing 2" mopar lift. I already have the Quadratech white wagon wheels. Tire size will be 35's (maybe 37 but I doubt it)
I haven't run BFG's in years. I have a set of General Grabber X3 red letter on my current Ram 1500 and love them.

Difference
Grabber is 1/2' taller, 4lbs less weight per, 16/32" vs 15/32" tread depth, and about $30 bucks cheaper per tire. Plus they have $100 rebate on top of that.
But I hear people rave over the BFG and not too much on Grabber.
THanks

The Grabber ATX is just as good as the BFG IMO. I had the Generals on my last JKU and I have them on my plow truck. I had the BFGs on my Gladiator and to be honest I don't feel the difference.

I did quite a bit of research on tires and ended up going with the Generals over the BFGs. They are great so far.

BFG is sort of that classic tire with a cult following because BFG has been associated with just about every kind of off roading for decades. The Grabber is just as good a tire for general off road use and I would in no way hesitate throwing them on my truck.

I have KO2s and I don't think I'll be installing them again. Not a bad tire, I just feel like it's overrated and the only reason I have them is the price was right.

BFG KO2s all the way for me especially if it's a daily driver. General Grabbers are a great option as well, good tire but you want get the life out of it like you will the BFGs. Ran both on my JKU and got 10,000 more miles out of the BFGs on it. After that, I want run another brand. On my 3rd set of BFGs if you count the last 2 sets I ran on the JK and the ones currently on my JT.

I’m running KO2’s now on both the Gladiator and JKU. For what I do with my Jeeps I have no reason to leave BFG and try anything else.

Don’t recall hearing anything bad about the Grabbers.

Congratulations on your new Gladiator. Both tires get solid feedback. It all depends on your conditions, driving style and what is most important for you out of your next set of tires.

If we can help please let us know.

Can the ATX be ran with the white lettered sidewalls facing inward like the KO2, or are the ATX directional?

I am leaning toward ATX over K02 but I cannot handle white lettering facing out.

Im in the same boat. Currently have the willys firestone mt2 (not needed) and looking into Generals or BFG. Generals have more sipping vs bfg but the bfg are slightly chunkier. I have more cold weather snow so the generals might handle a bit better on road.
