You got another gladiator. I thought you had gotten that Ram 1500 Diesel after you sold the Big Red Macine

Yeah so in a nutshell I really wanted a Gladiator but with a diesel. I waited a year or more and there were no signs it was going to happen. So I went ahead and turned in the JT lease early to lease a Ram (DT) diesel. Then OF COURSE a few months later they actually add the diesel to the Gladiator order guide. Sigh...

So I kept the Ram 18 months and went back to a Jeep. The Ram was a sweet truck. Nicest vehicle I've ever owned. There are times I miss it. But the Jeep is so .... fun.

Yea I really like the 1500 and my family misses it but like you said the JT is way more fun and it still covers what I need it to do

Perhaps they should roll out the black friday deal now since the shipping and logistics is getting worse. That way can order and maybe have a chance it will be here on time (LOL)

That's what most of the big chains have already started. Best Buy is guaranteeing Black Friday prices already and so is Home Depot. I could see the heavy importer websites maybe doing it, but local manufacturing would get hurt pretty bad.

Well Walmart and Amazon are buying up every vessel they can and creating there own fleets to transport just their stuff. Which is further making things worse in the shipping industry

Some good news: Many manufacturers are backing out of China as fast as they can hit the door. Fram, for one, is bringing all of their Ultra filter production back to the US. Some may not be returning all of it to the US, but they are diversifying and they are also rethinking just in time production. I know my brother's company is seeing many suppliers of small parts returning to the USA. He said it's a mass exodus from China.

Yep no blame they are covering themselves but unless they work a deal with the ports they aren't offloading those vessels. But many are now trying to call anyplace they can.

Same, winch is all I'm after this BF. I was waiting on a Rugged Ridge skid plate for months and finally gave up and cancelled it.

Yep Winch is my main target. Really hoping someone has a really good deal on a 10K winch. I know Harbor Freight will likely do something with the Apex 12K but I passed on their last big discount as was hoping for something a bit smaller. I am about to do that with my skid plate its been in limbo since May. I'll have to come up with another skid plate option.

Not quite Black Friday but… after 5 weeks I’m swapping out my aftermarket bumper. Managed to find the Arcus with bar for $501 (about $80 off) and it also has a $50 rebate. Not bad for $451 free shipping.

I've got the Arcus on my JK and love it. It is light weight, looks good, and had a solid winch plate in it. If I ever smash the front bumper on my JL, I'll put an Arcus on there, for sure. Looks like you got a good deal.

Oh yeah, the fog lights get a good light pattern with the Arcus, too, and can be seen from the side, as well.

We have seen this issue coming at my production plant for years, they slowly got rid of our parts inventory in favor of overnighting and emergency shipping parts. 1 or 2 hiccups in the shipping chain and you are down for days when it could have been a couple hours tops.

No store wants to maintain warehouse inventory, everything is last minute scheduling.

Yup. "Just In Time" manufacturing. Bit them in the ass, didn't it?
