Falkens were my close second choice. The 33" that came on the JT were super quiet. My only concern was the weight. If i remember correctly the 33" weighed almost as much as my 37 KO2s (or maybe it was the 35's?)
All at tires get loud and annpying after about 20k even falkens…

Ok I know this is counter intuitive However given the amount highway driving I do I want to swap the Stock Rubicon tires out for something more mileage friendly. Eventually I will have a 2nd set of wheels to have for trails and off road but I am assuming the stock tires won't last long as a DD tire....

JJ
How bout a set of 4 sport s wheels and Bridgestone tires, less than 1000 miles on them. $550 picked up in AR, central east - northeast border.

Perfect I was just reading about AT tires....
Im exploring R/T tires for my next set. They are some of the best rated hybrid tires:

"owners agree saying that this model delivers the same type of performance off the trail as the M/T tire provides, while on-road driving is equal to that of the A/T tire."

^^That's the opinion I keep coming across everywhere I look. Might be worth checking out...If you go that way, let me know how you like 'em!

I love the Wildpeak ATs

Such an amazing 3 season tire with excellent tread life. We have them on the wife's Ranger as well and when I found out they are the standard Rubicon tire, I was happy to not pay extra for the Mts

When they wear out, I will replace them with a 35" version.

They are my recommendation.
I've got the Wildpeak AT and at 18K Miles so far I have liked them. I did take a 1-2 mpg hit moving from the stock tires. Once these wear out I am not sure what I will go with. Want 35's but can't take another hit in gas, but also don't really like the look of the stock tires and rims. Guess have to find happy medium that works with a 100 mile a day commute 2 days a week.

Too big, IMO. Especially when you are on the highway. It's obvious to me then that people have bought things for show/looks.
Function over looks.
I lost more than 1mpg moving to A/T from H/T
insert quote from Dolly Parton “it costs a lot of money to look this cheap”

I have 2 of these Gladiators. The wife's Gladiator is the Overland. She gets about 19 to (occasionally) 20 miles to the gallon on the highway. My Rubicon with the Wild Peaks gets about 18 miles to the gallon. I travel diverse enough terrain that I like having the Wild Peaks on the Gladiator. So, I am sticking with them until it is time to upgrade to 35's. I honestly think you will not be happy with the change, but go for it. And like someone in this forum said, the Overland tires and wheels could probably be found for a whole lot less than buying them from a retailer. Just mount them up with the Dunlops and have the Wild Peaks as a backup set (in case you wake up some morning with remorse).

I ran my 2012 JK Rubicon’s MT’s until I absolutely had to by new ones (285-70-17). Went to Falcon Wildpeak AT’s and regretted not doing it sooner. When I get my new Gladiator Willys next week, my first upgrade is the Wildpeak AT’s.
