Those colors are going to be the pigtail coming off the microphone. Unfortunately the wiring schematics are only going to show the vehicle wire colors that go to that pigtail connector.

99.9% of the time, two wire microphones will have black (-) and the remaining color being (+).

True of speakers, mics and a lot of other things - black is pretty universally negative and the other color will be positive. Usually safe going black to black.

I’ve had no issues with the factory mics, Bluetooth or hard wired. I talk, the other end hears me 🤷‍♂️
Me, too - but maybe it's not the mics in mine that are ok - maybe it's because I have BT hearing aids?

If you connect them reverse then you will talk Mongolian if you live in California, and Mandarin if you live in Connecticut. YMMV

If I am setting still or not running over 25 mph it is alright and faster than that and person on the other end said it sounded like I had my phone hanging out of the window and they could not hear me

I wasn't real happy with the results. The noised is reduced at 45mph once above that, it gets to the point the person on the other end is having trouble hearing me at times. Once I turn off the phone's bluetooth, I usually here the person make a comment on how they can hear me better.
