You'd laugh at how many people buy 4x4s and Subarus and they they can be the next Ken Block or run the Baja 500 in their stock/unmodified vehicle without repercussions, or skill at the very least.

I'm NOT laughing now that my insurance will probably go up since there's 4 blue JTs in my town alone. <- Humor...or IS it :P

Water looks a bit too high and if I had to guess, he sucked water and the engine stalled. He probably tried to start it and BOOM….you’re done.

But seriously… Just because you have a Jeep, doesn’t mean you can go anywhere. 🙄 There’s a point where you need to ‘read the water’ and just stay were its safe.

Back years and years ago… My husband and I had gone exploring… We drove across this area to get to an ‘island’ To do more exploring. This was the Susquehanna River and water levels were low at that time. Deepest part was 12” deep and only for a short distance. Drove across, explored, took some picts, went home.

A buddy of ours asked “Where was this? - so we told him…..No biggie.

Several days later, I heard they tried to drive across and their ‘Bronco’ had floated down the river. 😳. They were rescued and the Bronco was totalled.

Let‘s just say….. it had rained and more so up north….all that water collects in this river. Water levels can vary 6-7’ !!! I mean….When you see the water moving that fast….and that deep…... do you really think it’s a good idea to try and drive across it??🙄
