Well I can join the club 2021 Gladiator Willys with 8.4 Nav and Alpine setup. At 55 mph or higher it sounds like a box fan is on high. Microphones suck. I tried something today that did help reduce the back ground noise by at least 50%.
I placed a foam mic cover like the ones used on motorcycle mic's over the mic's then snapped them back in, put a piece of electrical tape over the top so there is no way they are moving then filled the entire void with ultra soft squishy thick memory foam pieces. It's a temporary fix. But does help. Getting the right side mic out is easy the left one is a bit of a pain. You need to remove the plug to the SOS system to get to it. You will get a notice on the dash that there is a problem with the airbag system if the vehicle is running. It goes away once you plug it back in.
Also, just for a test I traveled over the same section of road with the mic's hanging down outside of the over head plastic to see if there was some type of harmonics traveling down the plastics. There was just as much noise at 55mph with the mic's in open air. I talked to the same person on each test. He is having exactly the same problem with the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL with the same system. We both have a vested interest in getting this figured out.
I think they used some cheap mics or only tuned in a wind tunnel. When stopped there is no noise at all in either stock or my mod listed above. I have a Galaxy Note 10. Using blue tooth or Android Auto there is noise and it starts to build at 30mph.
One other bit of research. I looked up the Gladiator Mic Mopar # 68292797AA I noticed it doesn't state noise canceling ???? But The ones for the Jeep Grand Cherokee do Part # 68207349AB. My friend listed above also has a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 8.4 Uconnect and has no issues. It has the part number listed here.
Has anyone tried different mic's ?
The 8.4 Uconnect in the Grand Cherokee and the 8.4 Uconnect in the Gladiator or Wrangler JL should be the same. I may buy the Grand Cherokee's ones and try them.

We need a electronics person to figure this out. I have not contacted the dealer yet. Jeep has had this problem since the release date and seems to be leaving everyone hanging. I really don't want to have to start from scratch with them (I will at some point). Kinda like beating a dead horse.
