Just installed a Tekonsha prodigy P2 brake controller. I used the plug and play wiring harness from Tekonsha. . As I was working under the dash the factory plug on the gladiator’s connector arced onto some bare metal. Now that I have the installation complete there is no power to the brake controller that I can tell. Should I look for a blown fuse? And if so which one? Where do I find it? This is a 2020 gladiator With max tow option built in December 2019. Thanks.

Stab in the dark, but F-37 powers 7 pin connector for trailer.

Oops, under hood, between battery and firewall, supposed to be pink.
Bottom center of pic, to the right of K-15.

Where did you mount your brake controller? I have a Tekonsha Primus IQ sitting on the shelf from another vehicle I sold that I would like to use.

Also, do you have the PN for the wiring harness? Tekonsah doesn't list the Gladiator on their website.

Thanks!

When I get a chance I’ll shoot you a picture of where I mounted it but it’s right of the center on the removable panel below the steering column. Also I’ll grab the part number for you later.

On mine, I mounted my Primus straight above the gas pedal, as far to the right as I could get it. I even had some Z-clips from a trailer wiring kit that made it a no drill installation.

First I tried it directly center that was horrible. That’s why the wire goes over that way right now. I ended up putting it as far to the right as

I’m 6 foot one and a half and it and it doesn’t interfere with my knee at all.

Here’s a picture from the drivers perspective. You can see the readout and reach to controls no problem.
