I will eventually be getting a set of Oracle reverse lights, because they look factory installed.

But the optics are not much better then cheap amazon lights. If you dont care about the doofy refector, Baja Desings reverse kit is the way to go.

I'm not thrilled abut Oracle going up $50 on their kit, But I'm not thrilled either on the price of
BD's lights. that and just a small light on the backing. I think I'll make something myself.
Besides I have already wired the two bed rack mounted lights to the reverse lighting.

I really like my Oracle Reverse lights, I pulled them off my 2020 just need to put them on my new Gladiator. I had a number of folks ask if that was a factory option. Bright enough for my needs.

Bright tailights and brake lights are annoying as hell to those behind you, especially in traffic and at stoplights when other cars are unavoidably near to you. If you start getting cut in front of by people who can't stand being behind you and your blinding taillights, there will be no one to blame but yourself. I can say straight out that I would do whatever it takes to not be behind someone with blinding tail/brake lights, including cutting them off so they are locked behind me instead. So check your road rage if that happens, it might have been started by you.

If they are annoying then they are doing their job. They got your attention. Id rather have my tail lights be annoying and seen than not seen. Thats part of the reason I went with a Seequenced sequential 3rd brake light.

I feel a little rage already. 😆

If someone else is starting road rage, I hope I just avoid it.

Totally agree! besides I'm pretty sure I will not be backing up while driving on the roads.

Then the lights are doing what they are supposed to do marking yourself seen annoying or not
But certainly not ignored

maybe add a tractor trailer horn for those that cut in front

Those that cut in front will not be doing it out of rage, they will be doing it out of self preservation so they can drive without squinting or looking off to the side. But getting cut off might trigger road rage in the person with the bright tail lights.

The attitude that it is okay to be annoying baffles me. When has it ever been okay to be annoying?

Nothing wrong with bright reverse lights.

@Badunit it is not an attitude to be annoying, where I live we have morons of all kinds tyhat like to be raged for one thing or another, tail gating to push me faster, passing on the right side of the road in shoulder even if i am towing. my view if they are texting, yaping on the phone, picking their nose, or whatever they are doing, they are not paying attention to the person in front....me. incandescent and halogen lights are not cutting the primal behavior attention gaps, away from the tasks of modern day driving. but now you want to worry about being raged against - it is not that. I was rear ended while at a red light, they claimed they did not see me stopping. lights were working according the police report.
Bottom line, the brighter the brake lights the better if someone want to show their primal behavior and be raged so be it. I have loud horn for that too.

Dirt Road Cred recently did an LED taillight comparison for their Joose JT on their Youtube channel. I don't have the link handy, but you can do a search. It was informative as they were going through the same scenario a lot of JT owners go through when contemplating LED rears.

I was considering the 48" OPT 7 LED bar. the problem here the access to spare tire lowering hole.
I have the OPT7 LED light bar and am 100% satisfied with it. It come with clips you can drill and removal of the light bar is very simple. I did however notch out the spare tire access hole grommet for the bar to sit flat in. Not at all a big deal.

I got the triple row LED bar with amber sequential signals (my #1 intention) and extra harness to have the reverse light come on as it should. Super simple install

You know LEDs do weird things on camera, but I can assure you, the color/intensity matches perfectly IRL. IJS.
