Took 11 pages and over 2 years on this thread for anyone to confirm that this would work; your post was the actual answer that it can be done.

Do you remember where the interference was that required the trimming?
On the Rubicon sway bar itself there's a little bar that goes into the rubber grommet that looks like an exhaust hanger. All I had to do is get my grinder and sand the corner of it down a hair and that was it. Everything else fit perfectly.

I had planned on regearing anyways when I go with 37s.
since you’re already planning to do the re-gear, if you want to add the Rubicon features but do something much better than Factoryyou should consider going with on board Air and doing ARB air lockers front and rear, as well as the no limits on demand swaybar disconnect (which also uses onboard air). This will involve swapping out your rear e-lockers, but the ARB system is an upgrade over the factory E lockers.
For the sway bar You will need a Mopar Front Disconnecting Stabilizer Bar (OEM 68530757AD) people sell them used on eBay. This is the stabilizer bar that is used on the Rubicon, and once installed it will allow you to rip out the electronic actuator and replace it with a pneumatic one from Evo. This will still allow you to engage in disengage from the driver seat but it is a superior product.

I believe that [Banned Site] has a video on this where he installs one of these on his red JL named Pippi and he actually does the trimming at the end of the video.

I do really like the ARB lockers. Would be easier and cover the install of onboard air
