I’m looking at buying the Bulletpoint phone month for a 24 Gladiator and am debating on the drivers side vs the passenger side. Initially I thought drivers side but it seems so close to the steering wheel and possibly blocks the screen. Passenger side seems close enough but I’m just not sure. Anyone have any experience or advice?

I just ordered the basic two ball mount of theirs for just the driver side. I had same thoughts... I'm going to use one for phone and the other for my Insta360. Hoping the phone doesn't get in the way of the steering wheel or screen.

I have one for the driver's side and then the bent arm for the passenger side so my wife can see the tablet screen. My side holds the phone.

We have both. On the driver side the phone (iPhone 14 Pro) sits nicely between the wheel and the screen. Neither the phone screen nor the jeep screen are blocked. We also use their magnetic holders. On the driver side it set the phone too high so we bought a small extension to drop the magnetic mount down (~2”s) so the phone does not block the view out the windshield. The only con is it takes a little finesse to work the windshield wiper post.

I have the full length Rubigrid. I have my phone on the drivers side and then mounts for gopro or whatever else ready in the middle and passenger side. My S24 Ultra fits nicely between the screen and wiper stalk, but it does block the HVAC vent. I then bought a mount that attaches to the passenger side vent for the Mrs phone.

My biggest issue was how high everything sits. I had to use a combination of arms to make the phone sit lower otherwise too much of it was up above the dash. It technically didn't block any view of the road from my perspective, but with such a small windshield it still bothered me.

Appreciate all the good info. Pics would be cool too of the bent arms or modifications to the original
Product. Thanks

I got one for the driver's side from 67 Designs and hate it. Will get another for the passenger side. They also have a magnetic mount that turned out to be more of a nuisance than I expected. I'll switch that to a conventional clasp-type.

I have the magnetic one with charging capability. I sits a little high but I have it adjusted to where it doesn't obstruct the vent and the radio screen although I can barely see the driver's side temperature display.

I use 67 Designs base and arm on driver side, which is basically same design, with no issues with it blocking my screen.

I have a Quad Lock Mag charging base I modified to work with it though.

I USE THE SINGLE PASSENGER SIDE PHONE MOUNT
I CAN SEE EVERYTHING AND IT DOES NOT BLOCK ANYTHING

I have the drivers side and it's close to the screen and close to the steering wheel. It blocks the left corner and makes it slightly difficult to touch the top two "buttons". Not many options. If you do the passenger side you will probably need a longer arm. Bulletpoint sent me a new holder because it was rattling over bumps. Hopefully this fixes the problem otherwise back to 67 Designs.
