Randy, are you happy you went with the medium height rack? I want to do the same but I suffer from ‘analysis paralysis’ when it comes to such expensive purchases. I don’t think I want the tent much higher than the roof line, and sometimes think just above the bed rails would be better, but I keep going back to the mid-height rack as the best option for how I use the bed.

I love it! I have a friend who did the full rack/tent and said he could feel it on the interstate. The ride on my jeep didn’t change. The only drawback is visibility out of the rear view, but with the tech features, it isn’t too bad.

Great setup! How do those pop up style tent hold up in higher wind? I have a wedge style, that does great in high wind. But I'm finding myself wanting a little more space.
