Forestville State Park in Minnesota this past September. Toured Niagara Caves a little south east of this state park. Fun weekend with my two boys.

I think that may have been the last time with this RTT though. My boys (8yr / 4yr) are getting too big to all fit comfortably in the RTT. Plus we added a dog to the family this year. Quite sure I'll need to switch to a big ground tent.

I’ve been thinking of getting a small trailer with a RTT and the canopy around the ladder. My son could sleep in the canopy or in the truck bed sleeper I built.

Made it to Dauphin Island for the week…fun spot, and our site is a two minute walk to the beach. Highs in the low 70’s

and lows in the mid 60’s is my kind of camping weather!

Did a lot of tent camping in my 20s and 30s. In my 50s I need just a little more comfort. So my wife and I take our mini, self contained camper out at least once a month. Nice bed, bathroom/shower, kitchen, AC, water and heat.

We're out this weekend at the Oregon dunes in Florence. Love this place. I'll post some videos soon.

Nice setup ! What’s that add on cover to the bed?

My camping setup is a Softopper canopy with a Camper top tent (also available throughSoftopper’s website) cost right around $1000. I have recently changed out the tarp off the back as the one shown was not great and developed a tear in less than a year.

It’s my second Softopper - had one on a Dodge Dakota. Easy setup, easy to put down and remove, waterproof, looks like factory fabric.
