I would think that even if it was problematic, a driveshaft carrier bearing I would assume would be easy/cheap to replace. What makes you concerned with it? On other trucks, they seem to last a LONGGG time.

OP probably comes from the world of bro dozers where carrier bearings can't handle the 14" lifts.

I can’t believe Jeep engineers didn’t consider this issue when designing the JT driveshaft carrier bearing. Stupid bastards!!!

Wait, what exactly is the problem here? It won’t carry plywood?

Well it was a question as much as a statement.
I know the carrier bearing in the rzr’s Are a serious problem and I know it’s not apples to apples but it just seems like a weak point!
What’s your thoughts?

Lots of trucks have had them for a long time. Why would it be a problem?

I agree it will be accessible and relatively easy to change and on “other” trucks they may be fine but a Jeep truck in the rocks may be another concern .... and if they snap say goodbye to your drive shaft and what ever it slams into. I’m more worried about secondary damage after it detonates

I’m sure the aftermarket world will have upgrades for the bearing and shafts so probably no! Lol

Well I guess there's nothing to worry about because if you're planning on doing serious wheeling as an educated human you will have larger tires and thus a beefy drive shaft.

EDIT: But don't listen to me because I'm an undereducated human.
