I definitely understand that. But can you answer whether it is as strong or stronger than the factory receiver? I tow a decent bit. One offroad camping trailer that maxes at around 3,500, and a 14ā cargo that maxes at 7k. I donāt load down the cargo trailer, because itās a gladiator, but I do get it to 5,000lbs loaded from time to time.Ding ding ding!
The certification process to officially 'rate' a hitch would cost exponentially more than justifiable. This is exactly why ALL (There are only a few) other companies with a high clearance bumper / hitch advertise it as offroad only.

I had the same thought! I dont want to cover the eco diesel badge. I then wondered if it could be mounted on the passenger side. With some modifications it could. But I'm not sure if Id want it on the passenger side. And before anyone says "By law it has to be on the driver side or center". The Ford Maverick has the license plate mounted on the passenger side.
