I finally found some time to give yall a ring this morning. Sounds like it's being handled so far :)

Edit: I have a confirmation from Rough Country on that missing hardware bag.

Never doubted yall 😄

I had a whole ARB Fridge come up missing at the UPS hub in New Orleans several years ago.

They took care of it quickly then too 😎

I figured it was most likely on someone's porch keeping some 40's chilled 😂 Was just 'lost' 🧐

Missing hardware for the other side should arrive later today. I will have to move my fridge outlet at the same time.

Flipped my tie down rings over so they dont hang down and rattle against the panel.

Im not certain of my load out, just playing with things. I know my small shovel and hatchet have been handy to have. Im pretty sure I want my pull strap by the tailgate but I may secure it differently / different bag / something.

Have a nut cert tool makes this way easier vs using the nolt/nut trick that RC sends you in the even you are tool-less.

Hardware showed up this morning for the other panel.

Have to move my fridge outlet. No big deal. I will move it out onto the molle panel somewhere.

So since the panel stops short of the front bed wall - I had an idea. I wasn't sure where to put my Viair compressor as I dont want my toolbox in the bed anymore, so I put two nut certs in the fender well and attached it with two thumb nuts. If it still needs to be portable I can remove it without tools. Otherwise I can use it right here.

Good looking panels! Assuming those are Rough Country from the logo?
Yep, the Rough Country panels.

Overall I give them a thumbs up at this price point.

So this is where I left off over the weekend.

I made a hammer holder for my rubber mallet. Its just a piece of PVC pipe. Its been useful to have the rubber mallet handy. I may add another one for my 3 pound hammer. At any point in time right now I have three houses and three other vehicles I may have to go tend to problems at - so my tools are always with me. Part of the hammer obsession...all my mechanic tools are under the back seat.

I also came up with alternate mounting for my straps.

Soon I will sort out some storage on the right side for a couple of items and finish the hookup for my compressor.

I also primed and painted my diff covers. We'll get those installed before October.

So since I committed to returning to Moab in October for some mild wheeling and sight-seeing, we'll have a few things to work on.

  • Finish up the air compressor.
  • Finish up bed organization.
  • Install the diff covers / new fluid.
  • Inspect and replace the tie rod if necessary.
  • Possibly install Starlink Mini - both to have better contact in the boonies in Moab and a backup option day to day (internet and phone can be spotty at times where I live).
  • Possibly install RokBlokz. Lots of gravel and dirt on this trip and I wouldn't mind protecting the sides of the truck a little better.
Not too much really.

I will be possibly solo, so also going to get a milk crate together with some extra oil, coolant, JB Weld, duct tape - etc. I may actually bring my water container full of distilled water as it can double as drinking water in a pinch and better for radiator fill if necessary (and I can carry just coolant concentrate).

More to come on those thoughts...

Considered getting myself a new fridge by then but I have deemed it non critical for now. Hotel has a sizeable fridge and we will be back there each evening, and ice works fine for some drinks and snacks during the day.

All good things to have handy. I haven’t switched to fridge either. Coolers are annoying sometimes, but I own them. As you said, hotels handle the overnight cooling anyway. Without needing an ice run, you might miss that daily maverick run before the trails. :)
