Thoughts about the 3.5 kit on a Diesel Rubicon........sorry for taking the lazy route and not reading all 23 pages.

Cheers
Not a problem! You won't have any issues with your diesel model, everything works exactly the same. We use a much higher spring rate than most other kits on the market, so our springs are very capable of standing up to the weight of that diesel motor. The only other thing you may want to add would be a small spacer to help level out the front end some if you’re looking for a more level look.

I'm very picky with suspension, whether lowered or lifted. I will definitely call when the time comes.

At this point I think I want the diesel, but part of me wants to see if they offer the 4xe option

@Clayton Off Road is there any reason why it would t not be a good idea to use sumo springs with your lift, as opposed to you’re bump stops?

We have not tested them ourselves, but I don't see why they would be a problem. I guess it would just be a matter of how necessary they were for your specific build!

Roger that and thanks. Figured the softer rebound when bottoming out would be nicer than hard bump stops.

If you end up trying them out let us know how you like them!

Finally got some time to get my lift done. Clayton Ride Rite 2.5 w/37 inch Maxxis Razrs. Ride is amazing! Way taller than expected, ground to rooftop is roughly 78 inches.
Have only one concern. Went today to have my tires rotated and the shop supervisor was concerned about the rear brake lines when on the lift. They were stretched pretty bad. Is anyone else with this kit swapping lines or putting in a brake line extension? Anyways, enjoy the pics.

Glad you pointed that out. I have the 2.5” Overland Plus on order with the 2-3” Fox Elite series shocks. If there is an issue I may just get brake extensions now. I assume if they are right now then when doing some articulation they could be a lot worse?
@Clayton Off Road any input on this?

Yeah, mine were stretched pretty bad. I got home and found some brake extension brackets I had laying around, and made them work for now. This 2.5 kit is tall, I'm glad I didn't get the 3.5 lol. I will be ordering their brake lines as they advertise to be 3 inches longer than stock. That should fill my needs.

They are the Method 703's. They are 17x8.5, 0 offset, 4.75 BS. Best thing is they are hub centric, so don't need hub rings.

I swapped lines with the 2.5 kit. The gladiator lines are super simple and bleeding is crazy easy if you have help. Top off the master cylinder open the bleeder valve and just have someone stand on the pedal. It keeps pumping until it senses back pressure and since your valve is open it will just keep pumping all the air out with out all the press hold let go, press hold let go.

Literally bled all 4 corners in under 15 minutes.

Oh yeah, done this lots of times! The best thing I ever purchased for brake bleeding is the Motive pressure bleeder. It makes it a one man job. Pressurize the the whole system and all you have to do is turn the bleeder screws. Oh and you put fluid in the container and it makes sure it never runs dry.

No no, i'm saying you dont even need the pressurizer if you have a friend to push the pedal. It literally just keeps the break pump going as long as its held down so as long as you dont let the reservoir run out it just keeps going.
