I have the Bestop Sunrider for the spring, summer, and fall, but (being a person that suffers from SAD) I spent some cash on the Clear Lidz for the winter. I absolutely love it. You get sunlight into the rig and the experience the feeling that the top is off in the winter. I know the product is a bit expensive, but I love mine. There is a little wind noise, but not any worse than the Bestop, and I’ve taken it into high pressure car wash without any leaks.

Highly recommend,
V

glad you like it! I’ve read mixed reviews from people. I could see it making sense for the winter into spring for here

i love the idea in theory, but i also have a sunrider and the idea of spending that much money for something i'm only going to use 3 maybe 4 months out of the year is a tough sell.

Yeah I don’t think I’d want it on the jeep in the spring summer. It would create a greenhouse and would be miserable. Slightly tinted, but not enough.

Totally understood. Again being a person that suffers greatly from SAD in the Ohio winters, it has really helped me. Money well spent for my personal situation. I balked at it forever because the of the price.

Awesome. If it was 350$ I would own one. At the price point its absolutely ridiculously overpriced for a clear piece of molded lexan and some knobs.

For $100 or even $150 I might do it. As it, it's not just overpriced but laughably so. That said, I'm at my office using a $100 pen because I like how it feels so there's a seat for every butt! Enjoy!

I wonder if it would still provide decent sunlight with my shade installed. I'm guessing so if it's similar light to having the top off.

Looks cool for sure.

Looks good. Do you find the interior seems colder than with the freedom panels since it's just a clear piece of Lexan?

Looks awesome and would love to have it here in the PNW for the same reasons…but yea these are exceedingly expensive… factory Mopar freedom panels cost $1100 which is a bargain compared to these.

I would be all over these at $500! Keep us posted on how these workout for you.

cheers

Yes, a bit colder. With the heat on, it’s not noticeable after a few minutes. It is much thicker than you would expect it to be.

I think I paid $1200 and change for a christmas sale. Yes, still over priced. I don’t have buyers remorse…I thought I would.
