Day 3 started with windmills in Kansas, fun fact Kansas ranks 5th among highest windmill states with over 4,000. We saw pretty farm land and traveled through several thunderstorms.

Sorry got a laugh at that shit! and it still looks flat. The elevation of lake Tahoe is 6227, the Rubicon is 6600 ft. Peaks around Tahoe are more like 10k. Highest drivable pass locally is 8911 and change Mt. Rose highway East side of Tahoe.

Day 4 started with beautiful snow capped Rocky Mountains. Then we begin transition to red rock and sandstone mountains in the western part of Colorado.
