If i could retire a 24, i'd be wheeling rn. Instead i'm waiting till 3pm and then headed straight west. Its weird cus all the fast pace, high stress jobs i prefer only wanna pay 20 and hour. These "need the worlds longest list of experience and achievement" jobs are incredibly slow and casual. I can live with it for the pay, but most days I'm pacing the soles off my shoes. I miss construction and travel work sometimes. But hey at least i only work 4 10s so i got every Friday to my own devices. Or wife's devices if i'm being honest ?Maybe that is a sign to retire.
For me, post-retirement has become even more busy on a day-to-day basis. I often think back and wonder how I possibly found the time to do the things that I did when working full time.

Man I can't count the number of times the Lockheed contractors I worked with used that line on some super technical stuff those of us with a TS clearance still didn't get the info on to actually fix things.
