Have had the CK liner installed for over a year and been extremely please with how it has held up during this past Texas summer. Wish I had thought about the additional sound deadening but you will notice an improvement without adding any. Overall a great upgrade if you don't mind dealing with their customer service.

I've had no trouble with their customer service. Always got back to me within one day. They even shipped me another tape kit and not charge me for it.

I got mine and will get it installed tomorrow. I ordered the same Kilmat , 3M tape and rollers so I hope it goes without any issues. I’ll post back when it’s done.

So I got part of it installed. I was sent an adhesive kit for a JL by mistake and they are already taking care of that and sending out the correct one. I did finish the front panels and the install was easy. The fit and finished look is outstanding. I added the 81 mil thick Kilmat sound deadener which had no effect on how the headliner fit. The Kilmat was pressed on, warmed up with a heat gun and then rollers were used to flatten it out. The headliner glued on right over it. As soon as I get the adhesive kit I’ll finish the rear. I also layed the windshield down and added some of the Kilmat around the frame to attempt to further quiet down some of the wind noise. Being bored and watching YouTube is sometimes not a good idea. I’ve attached some pics.
Thank you the OP here and to YouTuber Knights Garage for insight and information on the install. More to follow..

Great job, very clean install. Literally looks like a factory option from the pics. I ordered the CK in black purely for aesthetics. Any other benefits are a bonus.

what's the review of the Kilmat around the windshield? intrigued by this idea
Well, I’d say it helped just a touch actually. I did it to see it it really would make any difference. I figured it was simple to do and couldn’t hurt. The biggest improvement by far was the Kilmat and the headliner. I’m very happy with the results there.

Just installed Kilmat and the CK liner this weekend. Being that i have sever hearing loss, i can't say for certain how much it has improved the noise reduction, but it has made some difference. The kilmat was pretty easy to install. The CK liner could have used some more instructions vs. the quick video they tell you to watch. I struggled to find the tape layout document, so that was a bit of a guessing game. Only place i wasn't happy with the fit of the CK liner is in the corners of the main hardtop and where it wraps around the rear window.....felt a little to big to me.

Finally opened the box I received back in March, and realized that it's missing the weatherstripping. Is that something I can pick up at the hardware store, or was it a molded piece?

Seems like a good issue to bring up to the manufacturer. I doubt they'd have an issue sending you what's missing, even if it has been several months since delivery.
