You mentioned to get extra 3M double sided tape. Do you mean extra adhesive sheets that Coverking provides with the kit or something else? I just thought that I would order an extra adhesive kit with the headliner to cover any shortages. Maybe they won't sell it that way.

yep, specifically the tape. I got it via prime but ordering/requesting an extra set would certainly work too if they allow it.

I read a few threads on this setup, so I apologize if I have conflated anything. I believe you live in a place that snows, so I am not certain what your summer heat days look like, but I have read some concerns about heat causing the Coverking adhesive to become a problem. Have you experienced this at all?

Contemplating doing this when my Gladiator arrives next month, as the white inside top has always been, in my personal opinion, the worst aesthetic mistake Jeep have never fixed!

We've spent the better part of the last two months in WY, MO, UT and KY most recently. It has been exposed to a lot of sustained 90° and above weather. No issues to date. I was concerned about the actual sound deadening I added as I've had it fall down when ran on the cab-side of a firewall in the past when running hot. No issues there either, I think the inside surface just doesn't get hot enough.

Ditto’s on your install ?
I went with Kilmat 80mil from eBay, didn’t get extra adhesive, just cut up what was provided.
You can go full coverage with the Sound Deadening, leaving a opening for XM/SatCom.
Made a huge difference in sound/Quiet.

Looks great. I have my kit and supplies and going to do my install this week. I sure hope it cuts down on the road noise a bit. Not that it is terrible, just would be nice to make it a little quieter. I may attempt to relocate the XM antenna to the passenger Visor down the road...

Got mine done. Took longer than I thought it would it. Did a test drive today, seems to have reduced the noise. I went all over with the sound deadening material. My install was complicated by the fact I didn't receive the adhesive kit from Cover King.... customer service sent me a diagram and I bought $60 worth of velcro to mimic the pattern. Adhesive kit is going to be shipped to me, but once you get the top off and get started you just gotta finish it....

I put the Freedom top liners up w/o any thing and it holds well enough I can wait for the adhesive kit. I may do more sound deadening on those panels anyway so content to wait for now.

My Mojave came with the factory roof liner. I plan to install that over the top of the sound deadening and the Cover King. Figure it can't hurt and I want it as quiet as possible....

Next interior mod is relocating the xm radio antenna to the passenger visor and I'm considering one of those above visor shelf things....

Looks great. How many square feet of Killmat is that? I got 64 sq ft and I'm wondering if it's enough.

108 deg yesterday and I'll be applying MORE spray on adhesive when it calms down a bit this weekend. TOTALLY worth it though, just got back from 1400 mi / 7 day "car camping" trip, the noise and temp control is very effective.

What is the trick for replacing the bumpers in the rear section. I can't get them back in.

I’ve ordered one.. but keep getting pushed back on the delivery date. Got a good price from Real Truck and they drop ship from CK so I guess they are behind..

If I was doing it over I never would have taken them out... just cut the cover around them with razor blade and slide the cover over...... they were a PITA.... I got mine in using dish soap and lots of trail and error ....

Just ordered my CK liner from Morris 4x4, they had a 15% off sale on it so I got the liner for around $330. I'm going to order 80mil Kilmat from Amazon.

A few have mentioned needing additional double sided tape. Specifically which 3M stuff did you get?
