Trolling people and destroying things isn't what I would call good entertainment. I mean, if you buy a beater and beat on it, that's one thing. I saw a thumbnail for a guy who bought an all-original low-miles nearly museum quality Chevy square body and destroyed it for the views; I just don't understand that mentality. I don't care about breaking something that's new because it can be replaced, but no one is making original vintage cars anymore.

Maybe I'm the one who is broken, if I have something that can't be replaced, I kind of see myself as a steward of that thing. My job is to care for it until it's journey can continue with another steward; if I destroy that artifact of history, I've failed.
That doesn't mean I won't use it, but I care for it while I do. Kind of like those guys that race million-dollar vintage cars; the most expensive crash I ever saw was a Jaguar E-type caving in the rear quarter of a Ferrari 250 GTO. Those are both race cars doing what they are supposed to do, but those owners will also repair that damage and it's another chapter in the car's history. That's a little different than destruction for the sake of destruction.

Yeah, I think that may have been one of his. The one where he demolished the Hilux Diesel hurt but it was also more impressive than when Top Gear destroyed one- because it still ran.

Some of his stuff can be funny- the Challenger with Amish buggy wheels for example. Monstermax in the Intracoastal Waterway. But the gross majority of it is gratuitous and moronic, like Jackass on four wheels. He doesn't care- he's taking it to the bank through monetizing that channel and

I would never let this idiot in one of my vehicles. He is the failure, not the trucks. His testing starts beyond the failure point.

If I get the revenue from the video, he can take my JT and durability test/ destroy it. He's obviously making money doing these videos. Profit is profit on top of cost. He's not destroying $100k vehicles for $17k in tax savings.
