Does anyone have any experience with these DCS hood lights? Looking for some feedback/reviews, but I am unable to find much out there.

Well thanks for posting this! Iā€™m probably going to have to snag a set of these. Great idea seems to me!

I like the concept. They seem a little tall. I would be concerned about possible wind noise and hood glare.

Hood glare has never been an issue for me for some reason but definitely see your point. Iā€™d like to see them from further back but a search produced no such pics.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! I think the white or amber backlight would be a pretty good look w/ the factory or aftermarket LEDs.

They look like a great way to illuminate the front edge of my hood. Wonder what the pattern looks like in practice.

I will wait for others to be first adopters to get real world feedback. Seems borderline gimmicky. Hood glare would be my concern also.

I think of it as the opposite of being a gimmick. As long as they are quality lights, integrating them into a part that already exists and is necessary seems pretty slick. They wonā€™t look tacked on. I love it when people give an existing part even more functionality!

Interesting concept, but it looks like half the light beam ends up on the hood. So you probably get a fraction of the combines 2800 lumens making it the 100 yards down the road that they claim. You would probably be better off functionally with a pair of decent pod lights.

Cool concept, but doesn't seem to improve the lighting scene by a big margin. (photos may not do it justice in fairness) With a 20W LED in there, maybe that would do the trick.
