Thanks man. Still doing rehab for at least 6 more months but I should be driving again once the JT comes out.

If AEV does a 4.5” lift for the JT I will again and definitely 37s again. My jeep was riding perfectly prior to my accident and even with the 37s and stock 4.10 gearing I was getting great gas mileage. Was averaging 560k per tank with mixed driving. Mind you that was a 3.6 and 6 speed manual.

Honestly on the JK with stock fenders 4.5” and 37s look perfect.

I’ve seen the JL Rubicon with 37” and 2.5” and while it clears and does the job it just looks a bit small. Here’s hoping that AEV goes with a bigger lift for the JT

Glad you are ok and good point re: air bags in rollover situation as I was only considering initial impact.

Question for you as I'm thinking about what I plan to do to my JT. Would you lift it 4.5" and run 37" tires again as a daily driver?

It depends on how it interacts with the tailgate.... but yes, i like the prospect.
I said that about the rear tire mount, but didn't think about the camera. That reverse camera is a must for me.

Yeah Ive got a 4 and 2 year old, I'd like rear side airbags too.
Do we know there's NOT going to be side airbags? IIRC, side airbags were an option on my 2015 Unlimited.

Only being offered in a 4 door just ruins it for me. Too long! If they made a two door with or without a crewcab, I would be the first in line.
The 4dr may be better for towing, but the 2dr would look good.
