@SargeDiesel Clayton lists the same part numbers for track bars on both gas and diesel kits ?
Thank you for pointing this out... I am so wore out from comparing, reading, hearing opinion and advice from others on which one to get, I completely spaced on cross referencing part #'s. Another issue, only a couple actually list them separately, so you cant cross reference. I appreciate your help ! I decided to go with the steersmarts set up.

Are they having a decent Holiday sale? I saw someone post that Core4x4 is running 20% off. Thats what I was going to get if I went with the Mopar kit.

I also have the mopar lift. Nortridge 4x4 is having a 18% sale and offer free shipping... steersmarts was charging $60 for shipping and no discounts. I didn't see any sales at core other than free shipping over $100. The core look awesome, I like you have color options... I went with steersmarts because I wanted a solid bar and not a hollow tube(just preference).. plus I can get them in red without any up-charge. Payed $499. for both with their pro bushings.

Why is the Mopar kit sagging? Springs not up to the task even with the increased spring rate?

I am definitely leaning towards the Clayton Ride Right. Can always add the rest of the control arms later. Im mostly curious about the Fox shocks that Clayton supplies. My nephew has Fox shocks (not sure which ones exactly) on his JKUR and that thing rides horribly.

On the towing, its not like I am going to tow a 6000 lb camper across country like most of the guys on this forum but I have multiple work trailers so I need it to be up to the task for some short tows, some long ones. I pulled a Ram 1500 on my 14k all steel car hauler about 6 blocks. It was a bit of a struggle ?

It sure does look like a dangerous struggle! Your trailer axles are too far back on this trailer. Not a good design. Probably intended for a 3/4 ton hauler. Back vehicle on next time

Wayyyyyy over on that tongue weight!. That’s in the realm of frame damage hitting a drainage dip in the roadway and your rear suspension bottoms out.

As I mentioned earlier, I pulled that truck about 6 blocks in my small town doing about 15 mph. I wasn't worried about any frame damage.

Yes the axles are a little far back, it is a 14k trailer that I usually pull with my 3/4 ton Duramax.

I couldn't back the truck on because I had to use the winch on the trailer to pull it out of it's spot. Actually I guess I could have it just would have taken a lot more work to flip it around and I was by myself.

The pic honestly makes it look worse than it was, it was facing uphill.

Is there a lift kit option with a progressive rate spring for the front? On my XJ I have a progressive rate lift spring and it rides GREAT! The coils on the bottom are soft and very close together. After they bottom out on each other the spring compresses further and further up the spring.

Metal cloaks true dual rate for the diesel is a progressive spring.

For better or worse. gives you gobs of down travel but limits your total spring rate due to 3-4 coils being compressed. They compensate by making the spring like 9" taller. Im not joking its crazy long. My jeep hit the roof in the garage I had to jack it so high.

My XJ rides like a freaking Cadillac compared to most of the others I have ridden in.

I'd like to point out that dual rate is not progressive, but 2 distinct zones and usually the soft One is more for free length. I don't personally know any true progressive springs for the fronts other than maybe eibach.

So my wheels and tires showed up on Friday and I decided to get them installed since my Clayton kit was going to be in this weekend. They ran fine on the road with no rubbing and the diesel didn't seem to mind though I didnt take it on the highway. I could tell that the brakes felt the larger tire diameter though.

Then today my lift kit was delivered minus the rear trackbar which was delayed by FedEx but I decided to install it anyway. Install went well except for the rear swaybar link kit I received was for a JK so I reused the factory links. Im sure @Clayton Off Road will make it right when I call them on Monday.

It took me and my nephew about 5 hours to install outside the garage since my YJ is under construction. Ive only taken it around a few blocks but it rides super nice, better than factory so far with the Fox 2.0s. Its a little taller than I'd like but i expect it will settle after a few miles. Overall im very happy with the choice I made.

One small note about the diesel specific application is the interference between the catalytic converter and the upper control arm bolt. Man, that was tight. The summer sun made the removal very annoying. Along with getting the damn thing back in probably cost me about an hour. Nobody's fault but the FCA engineers. Might have been a 4 hour install short of that.
