Your right! I hope it's all working out. I think he may be telling me that to surprise me as I have never know him to have meetings all day long. I guess I'll find out in the morning.
I dont care as much about the video as i do having someone personally walk the vehicle down the line. When this happens supervisors give the line people a heads up and they know they are being watched so they make sure nothing slides. Less things are overlooked and they spend more time on detail & final inspection.
I'm not going to think about it until the morning.

Totally true! I have worked in a dodge assembly plant back in the 90's and back then on fridays guys would go out for lunch and get Fu@$ed up. Like so drunk they could barely walk. Back then the unions were so strong if you got in trouble you were just put on paid leave for a while & had to attend alcohol classes lol.
Hell.. we used to fill 32oz. Foam cups with wine and drink all day on fridays.
It may not be that way anymore but I know the shit that goes on in plants so to have someone watch you build is a huge bonus. Especially if they are very knowledgeable in the platform of the build.

Received my build order via the tracker yesterday. Checked with Jeep Chat today at 7:30 EST and was told my Gator was delivered to the dealer. However, the customer representative said their system was currently having glitches and should verify with the dealership tomorrow. I agreed, likely a glitch.

27 minutes later my dealer called, apologized for the hour, and said my Gladiator was just dropped off. He couldn't believe it and said the build team must be grade A. I'm going in tomorrow to take a look and sign the final papers. Once a Bullet bedliner and 33' KO2s are installed, I'll will pick it up.

If it helps, my order was:
Sport S
Max Tow
All options other than Adaptive Cruise and Smoker's group.
Black/Heritage tan
Fredericksburg, VA dealer

Absolutely stoked.

Can't wait to see photos of it. Be sure to share a ton, preferably in different sets of lighting to put an end to all of the color debates on here, lol. Congrats!

9/22 "JB" status . Manual, Rubi, tan leather, black top, fenders, and wheels. Moving right along. The chat dude said the JT plant is producing between 300 and 500 units per day.. and the wrangler plant is 800-1000 units per day. The idea of material procurement is nuts..

WOW! Thats awesome! Saw in another Gator group a guy in Richmond, Texas is set for NOV. 7th. Have you got your build sheet or window sticker PDF yet? put your VIN# in after "vin=" and copy it into your search bar
