EDT & LX4 50/50 and an amazon refillable flask ($14 @ amazon). I use a funnel from Audi ($10 @ ECS Tuning) which fits and is shaped better than the Mopar one. I stuff and replace a paper towel in the funnel canister every few months so it doesn't get messy. Easy to get 10% off Hot Shots on their website and its much cheaper to buy the bigger jugs directly.

If you aren't running anything at all grab something to add, every auto parts place has diesel additive. Given what is known about the CP4 pump at this point it almost seems foolish not to run something from the very first mile until they get a solution deployed.

@Almost can you post a link to the bottles you got? They are handling the chemicals ok? I've seen a few post on another board where the bottles broke down and started to split.
Amazon.com: Tovla Plastic Squeeze Bottles with Leak-Proof White Cap (16-Oz, Set of 4) : Home & Kitchen

So these are the ones I have, but it doesn't look like they're available or being made anymore. I have had zero issues with them for over a year and they're pretty thick.

Amazon.com: 8-Ounce Plastic Squeeze Bottles with Graduated Measurements (8-Pack); Great for Kitchen, Portion Control, Condiments, Cosmetic Use & Crafts : Home & Kitchen

These are the closest alternatives I have found but they're 8oz instead of 16oz. They look to have identical caps though which is the important part. They have screw on caps that cover the whole nozzle.

Do you have any facts to back your position? Any studies showing there are no positive effects from using fuel additives?

Still no facts from either of you. I'm not claiming anything, I have nothing to prove.

If you have nothing to prove, why did you post? Your statement that pouring additives into the fuel is a waste of money is a claim that using them has no positive effects. If this is just your opinion, you should state that, otherwise be prepared to support your position with some facts.

You challenging others to refute your claim with facts is a clear indication you are doing more than posting an opinion. Then posting you are claiming nothing is a clear indicator that you have nothing to back your position.

How are folks actually adding this to their diesel? If 1oz treats 25 gal, it seems like if you try to put 1oz down the the filler neck it’s not actually going to make it to the tank?
Sure it will, i put 6 oz of XPD right into the full spout every fill up, just have to go easy, it will go right in. Dump it in and it will be down the side of the truck

Has anyone tried OptiLube's XPD?

This additive is popular with the Duramax community.
Yes, Ive been using it for many years...I guess it works, no fuel problems or issues with DPF. Bentrod was talking about Stanadyne, the original maker of the pumps/injectors for the 6.9-7.3 Ford diesels. I used to buy it by the case and use it religiously. MY OBS '97 F250 has 285k on stock injectors from using it, runs just like when I bought it new. My newer Powerstrokes, and the Jeep get the Optilube XPD.
I thought the Optilube at $85/gal was killing me, holy crap, $125/gal for that trucker stuff...

I'm just trying to save you guys money from adding nonsense lubricants to your fuel that have no actual scientific back up that it provides a better condition for the fuel pump...

I dont know why you get so mad, its almost like you want to buy expensive additives every week and add it to your already overpriced diesel without any real benefits.

Sounds about right ...no?

No, because I don't own a diesel. I'm just pointing out your poor behavior.
