I don't understand people. In a vehicle he isn't keeping very long, he just threw a ton of money away. These types of builds are personal preferences, and not everyone would want $120K in a special build. I agree with Jteakus, someone is going to get a great deal.

Sounds to me like the owner used the vehicle as part of their business and most likely claimed the money invested in the truck toward tax write-offs.

"This modified Gladiator now has 21k miles and is offered in Washington with build records, a seller-provided build summary, and a clean Texas title in the name of the seller’s company."

I’ve heard 4.88 is sweet spot for heavy rig and 40’s. No personal experience though

That's what I thought when I read it. I am running 4.88s with 42s and have no complaints.

Still losing a lot of money.

Best you could do is 37% back in tax savings and it would have to be a flow through entity taxed at the highest personal level.
