What type of elevation profile have you used it at consistently? I'm also looking for one, and would prefer not to spend $2k if I didn't have to lol.
There's some good information on them, some claim 8,500 ft. but who knows. There is lots of real world usage at higher elevation online, the biggest thing seems to be to keep it cranked up, or at least run it for 10 minutes on highest setting before shutting it down, you want to burn the soot out. As of right now the highest elevation I've ran mine was 4,500 ft. and I kept it cranked, been good so far.

All of my run time for my Vevor other than testing an entire tank of fuel in the shop has been at 4500-5500'. I agree that getting it hot before turning it down should be best to keep the insides clean. Also wondering if kerosene would be a better option at higher elevations?

Some of the online crap I've read said don't run pure kerosene because it doesn't have enough lubrication for the fuel pump, if you want a cleaner burn mix it 50/50 kerosene and diesel. Of course I bought a butt load of spare parts including a fuel pump.

Works just like my vevor but more compact and everything fits inside the case including the long 3" hose I added. I have the none bluetooth unit.
The plastic case is cheap. My first unit came cracked. 2nd unit is perfect. If it cracks, I'll replace the case. Can't see why the planar unit is 2k.

Forgive the quick hijack, but dude, you need a rig write-up. That truck looks amazing!

The snow camp photo was at 7500' elevation. No issue at all. I believe there is a setting for higher elevation, which I had forgotten to use. Worst thing about these chinese units are their instruction. The vevor one was just jiberish. Found the instructions on a facebook group.

Pretty pricey stuff. I've been eye this setup. Similar price but it all built in.

I've looked at that also. But glad I didn't get it. It's pretty heavy at 51 lbs, plus takes a lot of room. Unless I'm cooking for a crew, I won't be need something that big. The drifta serves as a storage drawer. But it's also pretty heavy and a pain in the ass when loaded. I'm planning to do a custom drawer system this summer and get rid of the drifta. The legs are kinda wonky and really requires two people to set up. I think custom drawer and alucab table with my current slide out kitchen will be more convenient and ergonomic.

51lbs doesn't seem terrible and it folds up fairly small. There is some storage in the table as well, but not much.
I've also considered the camp chef portable flat top but that's 100lbs.
If you're looking for storage, American Adventure Lab is making some really cool storage slides. Half the width of the bed and full length. 6" tall and they are stackable. I haven't seen them on their website yet but they are on their social media.

American Adventure lab gear are really nice, but their also $$$$. Also shwoffroad makes a half width drawer out of composite. Really nice but it's $1900! That's a lot for me to spend on a drawer. So I just picked a up a new cordless circular saw to build my own. Probably gonna run about a 1/4 of that price but it'll be built to my custom specs.

Yeah I get that. It's a ton of money for a sliding drawer. If I was better at wood working I'd build my own.

I have just about zero woodworking skills. Built some large planter boxes for the wife during covid shut down and that is the extent of my skill. But I've watched a lot of youtube vids though. lol

That always helps. I built a 60/40 rear seat delete and it turned out okay especially for the cost. I think it'd struggle making boxes that slid well. I'd also prefer steel to wood in the bed since I don't have a canopy.
