Sure, everyone brings up the MM Warranty Act. But....let's say you blow the engine on your rig. They deny warranty because there's mud underneath and they claim abuse/offroad use. This could happen even on a stock vehicle (and has). What's your recourse and how do you use the Act? You can yell Magnusson Moss as loud as you want, but the real answer is court. Now, what are your court costs going to be? 30k? 50k? 100k? Who has more time and money for lawyers, and will drag it out to eternity, driving up the costs, you or Stellantis? What is the cost of the new engine? See the problem of expecting the Magnusson Moss Act to protect you?
As someone who just dealt with them for a buy back on my JK I can tell you they will fold. They will only fight it for as long as it’s going to cost them to foot the bill to replace it. It makes no sense for them to pay lawyers on their end tens of thousands on a warranty claim that’s only going to cost them a few thousand in parts. Once I told them I was getting lawyers involved due to them being completely unreasonable they called me back begging not to get lawyers involved. They know it cost them money.

But yeah In the end it’s also time and money on your end as well.

Way to stick to your Guns. Most folks on this forum act like you shouldn’t even try when it comes to getting a dealer to pony up in scenarios like yours because they think the consumer doesn’t stand a chance. Persistence pays…

I think everyone came to the conclusion long ago that the diesel isn’t too much tq for the 44s and this thread has run it’s course.

My diesel detunes itself more often than not.

It's only occasionally I step on the pedal and get to say "Oh! There you are!"

Very disappointing.

With any luck if you spent 50+k on a diesel gladiator then thousands more on mods and even more on the tune then perhaps you don’t care about the warranty and have the means to just repair it if it’s brakes ??

Which will void your warranty !
And that is what sets me back man :(
It's either set my engine up for success and delete it or go with a gde tune, what I mean by that is with all the emissions stuff deleted the motor won't have dirty ass oil from the soot that goes into the motor (that is why I installed a oil filter bypass) but man going with a tune is tempting .The given increased reliability the"Better mpg's,more powahhh and the sound just makes me wanna risk it cause I wanna have cool turbo spool noises coming out my exhaust like my Ole 3rd gen Dodge cummins diesel truck I had for like 5 months (just bought as a flip truck for profit)

Or I could buy another bade model jeep later down the road and have that as my "hard-core" build that I'd dream to have 1 ton axles and crazy mods done
Or a deleted rubicon with beefed up axles and 40's and cool suspension mods and call it a day
