Is there much difference in the tuning done by the 3 tuners I could find in my research? (GDE, Mr., and the couch guys)
??

Yes. This is a fun read. But I'm warning you, after this you may not want to have any of these guys changing the air in your tires:

Does anyone offer an in vehicle flash tuner for the ecodiesel? I hate to have my truck down for days to get it tuned.
If you're willing to shell out 250 for shipping then it will only be down for a little more than one day.

From what it looks like the EOC (canada) uses mr tuning thats modified. People seem to really love it and go full derete without issues. There are tons and tons of ram owners on FB that use it and rave about it.

Im using a banks derringer and it really only kicks in low to mid throttle or wide open for passing.

These jeeps are limited by torque management in 1-2 gear. If you got rid of that it would roll out way better. Even with my derringer and pedal commander theres a solid delay before full boost and torque kick in in 1st and then it drops and comes back on in second.

2 weeks downtime goes by fast if you plan it with a work trip like i did.

What are people getting out of these 3.0 turbos for hp and torque?

Do you need a ton of supporting mods? Fuel pumps, etc? I. know very little about diesels, but do understand that the direct injection requires high pressure and high flow pumps.

My other thought is that cooling won't be an issue in most cases.

You can only get on it so hard for so long as long as you aren't towing. I had a STi with 400 WHP (I realize baby numbers compared to what some of you have done) but it ran fine on the street with stock radiator because I could only lean on it for a few seconds at a time.

I did a track day at LimeRock and had to artificially limit my redline to 4500 RPM to keep oil and coolant temps in check.

Its bound to happen with regulation forces everything to go underground.
Have to get stuff out of the country if you want to delete. MRT has the tune and the exhaust pipes.
