Okay cool. These raise the front end and have bump stop impact reduction?? Seems like a great solution.
You have to cut off the oem bump stops to install the kit. Page 8 of my build thread has the install.

Which bump stop replacements would you recommend for a 1 in spacer lift? I see teraflex has some rubber ones but they look long.

Something to keep in mind, these are bump stop compression jousts. When you cycle suspension for clearance, you want to ensure these are removed- then cycle suspension to ensure nothing touches…. Then install these. These will compress completely when hitting something hard enough.

Okay dumb question time. I ordered bilstein 5100 shocks for the front with a spacer lift. Is it fine to leave the rear alone with the stock fox shocks? Will it make a big difference vs getting rear 5100s?

I suppose I’ll let y’all know soon enough!

You will be ok. Just a little soft in dampening in the rear. How much of a spacer lift did you order?

Okay great! Tereflex 1 inch. Seems to work for other diesel owners per the reviews. Opted for less lift with hopes my oil pan stays out of contact with the axle. Could I have gone more?

Guys have gone 1.5" before they have to change to a longer shock.

You will only get further away from the oil pan as you go up. No worries about making contact unless you were to cut the the metal bump stop perches to shorten them.

The Mojave (with a lighter gas engine) is the only model intended for high speed running.
Speed bumps are not high speed running! Lol-- Rubicon's are more capable than Mojave's in case you weren't aware bc you don't own / have one...

This makes sense! Considering bottoming out issue, am I okay installing 1 in spacer lift without bump stop spacer on stock Rubi springs? Could I go 1.5in lift? Or is that putting springs and shocks at risk of damage?

when I first got my gladiator I used the Rough Country 2.5 leveling kit which includes shock extensions. Just don’t install the bump stops that are included.

More capable for what? The Mojave was designed for high speed use. They purposely kept the front end light. It didn't get the diesel engine or steel front bumper. The Rubicon is intended for slower speed Trail use. Any of the models can be configured for whatever use you desire. It just depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Need some guidance. 2021 Jeep Rubicon Diesel. What’s the best way to improve the diesels ride over washboard and bumps without lifting? I feel like I have to crawl over bumps currently. At most I want is a level. This is my daily driver. I would like something composed on the bumps but not too stiff like a diesel 2500.
Lots of good suspension advice from others but I discovered a little hack for washboard roads. Put it in four-wheel high. I was on miles and miles of washboards and had to climb over something and left the in 4wheel. Got back up to speed and I was shocked that it felt smoother. Looked at the dash and saw I was still in 4 wheel mode. Something about it pulling in the front vs just pushing from the rear helps. It’s not a fix for a bad suspension setup but it does take the edge off.

So far simply replacing the front shocks with bilstein 5100 have made a big difference! They handle the weight much better. The ride on and off road is much more composed. Happy for now!
