What $$$ are you looking at to armor up like that ? Is it a package or is it À la carte ? Any certain brand ?

Yes, A la carte. Next Venture Motorsports is the company I've decided to go with. They are pricy but the build is like a tank. They have a nice sale going on now.

Belly skids are expensive. And the gold standard is Next Venture Motorsports. That’s the brand he’s comparing to. They’re light, strong as all hell, and increase ground clearance. But they’re not cheap. But they’re the only reason I still have a drivetrain at all.

Getting belly skids, diff skids, all eight control arm skids, FAD skid , Hitch skid and going with Next Venture for some of what they have you could be $3500. I would think, you really have to shop the sales as 20-30 percent sales adds up in that range!….Jack

$3,500 may seem expensive but it won’t go very far if you lose an oil pan/engine, trans pan/trans or T-case. Not to mention the trouble on the trail far from home. Then after repairs you still need protection. Armor up!

Damn right. When a tire slips off a rock and you come down on something like a ton of bricks, I want to know that the worst case scenario is my rear driveshaft tube. Pretty much everything else that’s expensive is well protected.
