Disable honking when stepping out while engine is running

I searched before, but couldn't find it. This showed up in the Similar Threads section of my new post.

Did anyone ever find a way to turn this off?

Don't close the door?

I seem to recall a thing in JSCAN but it didn't work in my JT
My attempts failed, but I didn't care as I was only testing it to try to find a way for others. I frankly don't care - I don't close the door if I take the fob out, or I shut it down. (But I still tried to find a "solution")
Likely a safety thing to prevent what happens with modern vehicles - people park, get out, and never shut it off, filling the garage with suffocating gases (not CO, though - that's not a big thing these days)
Ford handles it by shutting the vehicle off after about 30 minutes.

For my 2024 Wrangler Willys, the Tazer Mini disables the 3-honks. Every so often it doesn't do it when I jump out and the Jeep is still running but most of the time it does.

When/why would I jump out with it running?
- quick clean of some bug splatter on the windshield that the wiper won't remove.
- forgot CAC or ID badge to get on post or office building
- left laptop charger on the desk
- notice someone who drove it before you left some trash in cup holders
- forgot lunch bag in the kitchen
- Significant other may have taken a little longer to get out of the house, jump out and open the door for her.

Some of these may happen independently or on one really bad morning.

No one appears to have found a solution, other than a Tazer, and I'm not willing to pay that much.

I already have these two items. I paid a total of $49.55 a little over a year ago. I didn't get them installed in the previous truck. Now I have a new one that does the three honks. Unless someone comes up with a solution before I get it installed, I'll wire up something with a relay and an Aux switch. In the meantime, I just turn it off and then use the Remote Start. I have the horn honking with Remote Start disabled.
