ironically, that is exactly what is leading me to want to spend the money on the taser….

that’s what I do, but now I’m getting muscle memory for my other vehicles and doing the same thing everywhere.

I’m starting to wonder “why should I change my entire way of life for every other vehicle that allows me to disable that feature just because one of them is a jeep?”

Melodramatic? A little, I know. Which is why I haven’t quite pulled the trigger on the taser yet. I’m still working through these issues with my therapist.😂
you will never regret it best mod I have done to a vehicle
as said just the live setting are awesome
remembers ESS setting
Kills Hock 3
Kills auto Park
Seat belt warning
shuts off tag lights in Rev
Line lock
winch anchor
cool down mode

you can use it for all the changes for non live or
Tazer acts as A SWG Bypass so if a Blue tooth Doggle can be installed and use the more intuitive Jscan or alfaOBD for non live settings

But what if I don't need any of those things?
The 2025 camera is very different from the prior model years, no problem with the license plate lights so far, I couldn't care less about auto park - it's never once bothered my purposes, I don't latch the door when getting out of the truck with the fob - and I rarely ever exit the truck with it running anyway, I know how to press the ESS disable button, seat belt warning - either wear them or latch the danged belt....................
(glad these have auto park as my son is really used to stopping and just getting out of his vehicle in FL - so he pulled into a parking spot, opened the door of my JT he had borrowed, and proceeded to exit the vehicle and go into a store.......... engine running, vehicle still in D.

So I can't justify the $300+ for maybe a single purpose I haven't yet thought of or needed.

Not that anyone has to tell you ;) but I suggest you never buy a hybrid. It would drive you nuts.
For whatever reason it always freaks me out for the first few seconds after it shuts off. I just chalk it up to not being used to the stop/start and also in the past if any of my vehicles just shut down then that meant we had some major issue going on which was never at a convenient moment. ie in the middle of traffic. Lol

You should have been in the car with me the first time I drove one of the state vehicles that was a hybrid - and no one warned me.
I had to drive across the state to swap out and configure some network equipment. Started the car and took off - came up to a stop sign, DAMN, I'm screwed, the engine died. I let off the brake and the sill thing started again. Then I realized how different the dash was and after 100 miles or so, got used to it.
But the first bit was rather spooky - will it keep running and get me there, or............ and having vehicle troubles on an official trip in a state-owned car, paper work up the butt.

then don't get one ... we know you don't like tazer, no one is forcing you too buy one

however for Figmo...(since that is who i replyed to)

- I listed the ones I use and like!
-auto park / Kill honk 3 when hooking up to my crawler hauler trailer and putting it in place I am in and out of the vehicle or have the door open while backing (having the top off does help though)
-Winch ancor while winching it was awesome to put the gladiator in 4 wheel brake lock (not having some hold the brakes) this winter when i pullled a few people out of a snow banks and did so clear of both vehicles (I have a wireless winch)
- Kill honk3 at 0300 in the morning getting in and out of the truck to leave for work and not have my family woken up or cause the neighbors dog to bark
-cool off mode great when crawling on the trails on a hot day that you were blasting ac and siting waiting for the next line on the trail

LOL - not that I don't like, just haven't justified the cost for what little it might possibly do. (especially since for many things there are cheaper options).
Just how my needs line up, and showing that there are other ways of doing a lot of things.

The one item I might like could be the brake lock while winching - take the load off the park pawl. (I haven't looked to see if jscan does that as well - he keeps adding off-road functionality)

For cooldown, I can trigger the fan in jscan. I have used that before when the snow plow was mounted since it creates a low pressure ahead of the grill and causes things to run hot.

It's not a dislike at all - just a lack of need, and having other options.
If you want and/or need what only tazer can do - go for it.

They are addressing issues that don't exist with these engines. Cylinder shift on an open deck engine isn't really a problem unless you add turbo it or otherwise raise chamber pressures and loads beyond normal.
How often do we have piston, ring, or lower end issues?

Besides, they are actually addressing the non-upgrade version, not our engines - you can tell when they talk about the rockers and heads........

Auto Stop Eliminator needs a 2025 version... I've read that the plugs are different. If they don't hurry I'll end up going the Tazer route!

Throttle response on these things is bad enough without the extra time for the starter! Wait, does Tazer let you alter throttle response?

Get the Banks product to remap the throttle. Funny thing...I can launch fast enough at a green I surprise those thinking they are going to buzz around me.

The "PedalMonster"? Looks like it's that or Tazer, but not both since both tie up the OBD.
You have me looking at their other products now too. I'd never considered them as a non-diesel source!

Oh, just GREAT! Yet ANOTHER thing I spent time rigging up on my own because I didn't want to buy the Tazer. And will become superfluous if I buy one now. I wired up a little relay to kill the tag lights in reverse.

I don't mind doing all these little mods but my point I wanted to stress to the OP was....eventually you find something you CANNOT rig up yourself and ONLY the Tazer can do (in my case it was the 3 Honks).

At which point, you realize you should have just bought the Tazer in the first place and saved the time and money.

So is this an older motor?

Different connections. Tazer doesn't use the OBD port.

Tazer should not interfere with the Banks product. Tazer doesn't plug into the OBD port itself.

If I'm incorrect, Tazer owners can let me know, but as far as I know, tazer doesn't interfere with much of anything - including JSCAN or AlfaOBD and a Bluetooth adapter on the OBD port.

Kind of like what I said in the post above yours. 😁
