I have used Hot Shot Secrets EDT and Diesel Winter Anti-Gel since the day I purchased my 2021 JTRD with 9miles on the odometer. This is from reading all the CP4 failures in other trucks.

I put in 1oz regardless of how much fuel I use when filling. 2oz if the tank is near empty. Recently I have also been adding the LX4 when I fuel. I install a new fuel filter every 10k miles and have not noticed any metal in the filters yet. Fingers crossed as I received the recall notice for my VIN. 36K miles and counting until they have replaced a few of these HPFP's in other Jeeps. I honestly don't want a dealership tech under the hood.
I don't think you would get metal in the filters , unless the in tank pump grenades but I don't think we have seen that happen.

When you shut off the 3.0L, there is a buzzing sound under the hood that lasts approximately 3 minutes. Some Jeeps are louder than others, but parked inside the garage, it is very prominent.

I was told that is a pump sound of fuel being returned back. If that is the case, and there is some damage to the fuel pump, metal can get into the filter, isn't it?

I didn't even think of the fuel return. Good point.
