That is really too bad that Jeep does not care. One thing I know for sure is the folks that put my Jeep together really do care because it is one of the most well built vehicles I have ever owned and I have owned a few. The fit and finish on my Gladiator is excellent . I have owned one CJ5, three CJ7's and five Grand Cherokee's and my 2023 Gladiator out does them all. However, it is still too bad that Jeep does not care.
I can say the same for my JT and our JLU.
Things line up nicely, the finish on both is great.
There was one issue that seems to be common to Wranglers - the wire leading to the rear window defrost at the top doesn't have enough slack on some Wranglers. People complain of that wire popping off the glass. Ours was so tight the window didn't go to 100% open as it was held back by that wire for the last 1" of rise.
I checked one in the dealer showroom and it had a touch of slack even with the window pushed up 100%. So I carefully pulled more wire from above the trim and got it at least so the window opens 100%, you can push it up and it doesn't pull on that wire although there's no real slack.

Okay a bit of a rant...

I took my Jeep in to the dealer in April for the 26A recall on the rear axle seal. They inspected and supposedley orders parts. I followed up in July and got "parts still not in". I followed up with @JeepCares in September and have gotten nothing but the run around via private messages on this board - promises of emails and calls but never received any. They said they sent an email but when I called them out on it, they asked for my phone number and email (how could you sent that email that was supposedly sent without that information orginally)! Still never heard anything from them via email or phone.

So I stopped by the dealer today to see what is going on and was told that someone had called them from Jeep Cares. They said this work order was written up under a recall and it was not a recall. I would need to bring the vehicle in an leave it for the day so that they could inspect and order parts.

Now understand, this had already been looked at by the dealer in April and parts were ordered. Now this guy is telling me that it is not a recall - I am sitting here looking at the letter from Jeep that is entitled "Customer Satisfaction Notification - Right Real Axle Shaft" that I took in along with the leaking jeep in April. There is a phone number to call and a website that clearly says RECALL.

Regardless, that is not my problem - RECALL or not, I have been jacked around by this dealer for 6 months and no one bothered to pick up the phone and call at the dealer. I have been jacked around by JeepCares for at least a month with promises to call or email or something and I have heard nothing. Now I have to take the jeep out of commission for a day to have it "inspected" yet again and then what, wait another 6 months on parts? I asked what happened to the original parts order - he said recall parts are different from warranty parts. I am calling bullshit on this as it is the same damn part! It is an axle seal that is leaking, regardless if you replace the seal or the whole axle because Jeep technicians can't be trusted to press off bearings and install a seal correctly is not my issue - the physical parts, regardless of recall or warranty or me walking in an ordering them from the parts guy are the same freaking parts.

I have added differential fluid as I am towing the SxS to the deer lease and don't want to cause further damage - will Jeep reimburse me for that? Are the brake pads going to be replaced as they are coated in grease as well?

I am beginning to think @JeepCares is simply pranking me TBH because I have gotten the literal run around from them for over a month.

Okay, done ranking - now to waste another day with the Jeep at the dealer.
Do they care? Yes, they care whether or not you buy one of their flawed vehicles. Otherwise, no. I don't know where they found that moron who runs Stelantis but I'm not convinced the company can survive much longer with or without him. This is not the same company it was even a few years ago.

I had a pretty good experience with them. My start stop wasn’t working when I first got my gladiator and it was talking a couple of weeks to get it repaired and the dealer wouldn’t give me a rental. Jeep wave was able to get them to get the rental (I ended up not using because it works against you if you have to lemon it) and Jeep Care gave me a no cost extended warranty for several years. The start still stop still barely works anyway due to having my A/C on most of the time. I have it anyway, but I had a positive experience over all.

I can see the jeepcares was online yesterday but hasn't responded to when i gave them an @ a week ago. I can say they probably don't really care.
If they cared I wouldn't have the wait a year for a recall that I still haven't gotten done
I’m in Los Angeles and for the last 12 years have been going to Glenn E Thomas for service on my jeeps. I had lousy service in Glendale, and found it so worth going to Signal Hill/Long Beach that I’ve been going there ever since and bought my Mojave there. Beto is the best service tech I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, well worth the time and effort. Good luck!

Gave them a call, now let's see if they actually get the part in the typical 2 weeks they told me. Seems better than the 2 dealers I've been to.

I see you are located in TX, depending on where you are located have tried a different dealership? Where I am at there are Jeep dealerships every few miles. It took a minute but once I found a good one it was well worth the 40 minute drive to get it any recalls or warranty work done there than at the one 5 minutes from my house.

Have you also called different dealerships? Being in Los Angeles there has to be a few Dealerships there. I bought mine in April and called around the dealership I went with had the CP4 pump in less than a week
I am no longer in TX and now Arkansas and the next closest dealer is over an hour away, so unfortunately I will have to suffer through with these guys. I dropped off the truck this morning and they are telling me 2 days just to assess it (even though they did the inspection for the A26 recall back in April).

I will play the game but this will be my last new CDJR vehicle.
