My 22 Eco GRuby had the drag link ends wear out and were replaced under warranty at around 48,000 km’s. I still have a clunk, just haven’t had time to do some proper checks to see what’s what and decide if it’s caused by upgrades I’ve done or warranty on stock parts

Factory drag link was worn at 29K-30K miles for me. Had 39s, though. Since down-sized to 35s. Not so bad to change drag link yourself but will want/need an alignment after

So what options are there for those of us running factory wheels?

Apex and Rusty both say you need different wheels?

Ok next question can the threaded end just be replaced or is it the whole bar?

Factory one is like $225 or so online.

This is what it’s doing:

You can get just the Outer ball joint end that attach to the pitman arm from Jeep. It's about $80. Found mine was loose at 15k miles, upgraded to Synergy.

Every……single……new or used Gladiator and JL Wrangler I crawled under at dealerships this week had the EXACT same clunk and movement if it had a stock drag link installed. I probably
Crawled under 20-25 of them. Just like me it seems lots of owners are chasing a problem that is “normal” from the factory.

*as long as it’s rotational play*

I did Rock Jock mainly from experience with Currie since early 2000's and knowing I would eventually switch Knuckles to their high steer system which can be used with only 2.5" of lift being it don't require a draglink flip .
