Plug at the flex. Right where you unbolt it from the exhaust. Should be yhe same up top i would think but theirs is made for the lower side
Should be fine that it will rattle around?

When you buy from EOC they include a block off plate for it

What do you plug the EGR tube with??? I was thinking of tracing the stock gasket and making an aluminum “gasket” that doesn’t have a hole… keep it stealthy.
Orrrr just buying the aluminum block off plates :-/

Oh, that EGR. The low pressure EGR.
Yea just the exhaust side. There is a handful of companies that make gen 3 kits but won't sell to America. I came across one the other day in Michigan but it was an incomplete kit for removal of both high and low side. With no directions anywhere it's tough to see what all is needed. With stage 2 tuning it is just disabled if I remember right.

Right … I am inquiring about this…

Perfect for my stage 1 tune. However, when I go stage 2, it’s all getting ripped out; HP EGR, LP EGR, DPF, SCR, DEF, DEF tank, everything!!! I’d bet there is 300lbs of crap there.

Yea not a bad idea. I'm pulling all but the egr untill I can find a working setup. All my stuff shipped so hopefully by end of next week I'll have it all installed.

the rumor is that EOC is working on a full delete … No ECO has what I believe is a complete set of block offs.

I’m dragging my butt going stage 2, I have the tuned ECU, just need the exhaust, EGR delete kit (when available) and I need to get all the electrical plugs, as I want the connectors clean and ready to go back if needed.

Electrical tape works just fine for the plugs. Egr kit isn't necessary when going stage 2 but will be nice to have. Hopefully EOC will release a full kit sooner rather than later. Been at it for years 🤷🏻‍♂️

So what is the consensus on the trans tune? Is it really needed or does the stage 2 ecu run fine without it? I did not order it with my kit.

it can run fine without it but with the extra power it will help with the firmness in shifting. I did it last time and have it again this time. Waiting on my exhaust to show up Tuesday to do all my install

My trans isn’t tuned. I am on the fence on the tune, does it keep the torque management? Will the trans live when more torque is applied at a lower Rpm? At least you can reverse it if you don’t like it.

The trans tune by itself was a dramatic improvement for the truck. It got rid of the sluggishness off the line that nearly ruined the driving experience. The trans tune with the engine tune has woken up the monster in the Gladiator. I just finished up the exhaust install yesterday, swapped in the tuned ECU and flashed the transmission back to the tuned program. I went out on the test drive to re train the transmission.... Buddy, let me tell you what. I was trying to do the whole 70 mph while using less than half throttle thing and I was up to 85 and climbing before I realized it. I'm rolling around on 35s with stock 3.73s and it reminds me of the highly modded TDI that I used to have. Very fun!
