Can I ask my dealership to reflash my PCM? Is it part of the process of the recall?
I believe it is part of the process, but it wouldn't hurt to ask them to do it.

Not part of the recall may be related to radio update or things like that. Some say they had a flash others don’t.
As for the mpgs it’s due to the replacement pump and they have to disconnect the battery so yes it’s relearning your driving habits.

New member with new to me previously owned JT Diesel. Purchased a 2021 3.0 with 35k miles last week. Recall was completed in January at Jeep dealer I purchased JT from. No pump failure so just the pump replacement. There is no stickers from campaign and no owners manual addendum. In talking with diesel tech and service mgr, they weren’t sure why labels were not installed or addendum put in glove box. Does anyone have a photo of the owners manual addendum. I see images of stickers but haven’t seen anything on the addendum and exactly what it says. The dealer stated that the addendum on changing fuel filter every oil change is only if using biodiesel. Otherwise they state every 20k miles. This dealership performed all maintenance on this vehicle since new.

Never mind. Just found a photo on Wrangler forum. Looks like if using B6-B20 biodiesel, filter should be replaced every oil change.

The fuel filter replacement interval has changed overall, not just for when using B6-B20. Previously it was required every second oil change, not to exceed 20k miles, whereas now it's at every oil change not to exceed 1yr/10k miles. It's also very important to note that the fuel filter and oil change criteria for B6-B20 use is every 6mo/8k miles, so the time change interval drives a minimum of two changes per year regardless of the amount of use.

Thank you for clarifying. The addendum I saw did not look like the one you shared.

Part numbers are in the TSB. :)
Anyone have the 3rd version of this? Dealer told me it’s now over 120 pages long. I didn’t receive my under hood sticker, fuel door sticker or owners manual addendum. The service tech I spoke with didn’t know it was a thing until I sent them this TSB document. Apparently they are separate items they have to order. Makes me wonder if I got everything else that was supposed to be installed…

I have a printed copy of the TSB 63 pages long with the two tree decision approach for running not running fuel pump only or full fuel system replacement. I did my own and am still waiting to hear if Fiat Chrysler motors/Stellantis will honor their promise to compensate for the parts and or labor. In this first version, posted here by CJ8Hemi_JTRD, Wed at 1023 am sometime in October? In this earliest TSB for this recall, it required the replacement of the HPFP using recall pump #CSSMZ461AA,
AND CSGNZ965AA, HPFP RECALL TUBE KIT EVEN FOR THE FUEL PUMP ONLY RECALL REPAIR. THOSE "Recall" numbers beginning CSG could be found in the step by step instructions to include three HPFP fuel lines/tubes, as Chrysler part numbers, 68490025AA, 68490026AA, 68490023AA, ALL $75 EACH TO $139 EACH DEPENDING ON WHO HAD THEM AVAILABLE. Also required EGR Tube gasket, and EGR seal replaced. Again this is the pump only procedure in the early service bulletin to prevent fuel and egr leaks. They could have changed that later to save $$$. Also the recall numbers, including the Fuel Pump itself, make it very difficult to backtrack to an original part number as more than one on hand original part number for the fuel pump was allowed to be used in these recalls according to jberry187 who also posted here. The "superceding" recall numbers mask the parts and the REAL pump numbers used. I do not believe in the "new improved fuel pump" for this recall theory.

Apologies if this has been asked/answered (couldn't find such) but, my rig goes in for the recall next week... remove the J-Scan beforehand or leave it? Have only used it for the tire size recalibration.

Be on the safe side and remove it. It seems that some do get a flash. While others don't.

Here's my part numbers from my sheet.

CSSMZ461AA - PUMP - FUEL INJECTION
CSGNZ961AA - GASKET - EGR TUBE
CSGNZ965 - TUBE - FUEL SUPPLY
4275086AE - LABEL - AUTHORIZED MODIFICATION

Mine was one of the first ones completed at the Factory. Background history ordered 8 Mar build date started 12 April and went into Storage on 18 April...meaning it never left the lot and was shipped to the dealer after pump replacement sometime in Oct( as the scheduling guy was also not there).

My Truck arrived at dealership end of Oct. Nobody can tell me an exact date the HPFP was replaced other than we did a bunch and yours was one of them...of course this was in the middle of the Strike so I guess the folks responsible for the items to add(all the labels) weren't there...I did get the addendum to the manual and the fuel sticker on the tank door, but the hood label guy was missing that day lol. Who knows maybe later I will find out mine was in the photoshoot of the TSB lol.

If you cant find the info go to the NHTSA recall page
https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2023/JEEP/GLADIATOR/PU%252FCC/4WD#recalls

and here are the TSBs that have been uploaded so far. Last one is 130 pages.

After waiting 3 months, I went back to my dealer to see where I was on the waiting list. Still #5! Nothing has changed. They told me they haven't gotten any of the new pumps yet.
