Any further updates here?

I dropped mine off today with the same code. No drivability issues at all, just a CEL every 600-1000 miles. Lasts two-three days then it goes away.

This code pops up on mine from time to time, no loss of power or anything so I just shut it off and clear the code with the iDash and continue about my day. There’s no way it’s going back to the dealer now after the work I’ve done to it.

I did save the work order in the post above incase I have to do something to fix it in the future.

I tried to open a case with Jeep. They told me I needed to take it to the dealer for a “more recent” assessment. I told them I have 50 emails from my OBD2 alert device that I am happy to send them. It’s super frustrating. So I’ll take it back again in the coming weeks, only for them to tell me once again that there is no known fix from Jeep yet. I intend to submit all documentation from this thread to Jeep corporate. I think I’m going to file a complaint with the NHTSA; it would be helpful if each of us did. Thanks guys.

I am continuing to experience significant issues with the camshaft position sensor in my Jeep, and the situation has now escalated. Not only am I still dealing with the sensor malfunction, but I am now also losing both oil and antifreeze. I have been informed that the prolonged issues with the camshaft position sensor may have caused serious damage to my engine.

Despite my repeated efforts to resolve this matter over the past two years, including numerous interactions with the retention team, no meaningful assistance has been provided. My vehicle has spent over 140 days in the shop, and I have been left without access to a rental vehicle or any other form of support during this time.

This level of disregard is unacceptable. As a result, I intend to escalate this issue by filing formal complaints with the following agencies:

• National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA): To report safety-related vehicle issues.

• Federal Trade Commission (FTC): To address potential unfair business practices.

• State Attorney General’s Office: To handle consumer protection and warranty disputes.

• State Consumer Protection Agency: To assist with consumer rights and mediation.

I urge others experiencing similar issues to do the same, as it appears that systemic failures may be at play here. Jeep’s lack of accountability and willingness to stand behind its product is deeply troubling.

Good for you for doing this. If you can post a link to each agency, I would be happy to file complaints as well. Mine goes in next Wednesday for them to give me a "more recent assessment" so that I can then open a case with Jeep.

I will tell you that my experience in the past with cases with Jeep has been positive in the end; despite taking a ton of time and a ton of communication. I am sorry you're having such a problem with it all; I worry that this is causing long term issues like yours. Thank you for taking the time to type all of this and keep this thread alive. It's going to take the teamwork of all of us to get this resolved and to the TSB stage.

Maybe Antonio will see this if enough people file complaints. I hope it works for you diesel guys.

Any MY2021 with this issues? I've heard in 2022, Jeep had changed some electronics due to chips shortage, or did the bean counters had a field day.

I'd thought about trading in my 2021 for a 23' but didn't wanted to take a risk as mine 21' has been great.

My '23 popped the P0341 at abt 4300 miles & again at abt 8600. No loss of performance or drivability either time. And both were cleared with a cheap OBD reader at home. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones(?).

Wish you all the best of luck. I got rid of mine this afternoon after another CEL. Not interested in dealing with this stuff on a brand new car.

HI everyone MY 2023 just recently went through all of this. I have now had it back going on 2 months and over 2000 miles and no check engine light came back on. They replaced the Harness,DPF, Catalytic converter, ECM, DEF system,NOX sensors and all the gaskets and turbo tubes in between. Finally I think we narrowed it down to Failed PCM and From factory as small Pin hole on DPF that we found once we removed it for replacement. My Jeep was in the shop for 5-6 months. I posted most of my updates on this forum to inform others. Hope this helps. And as others have stated I did the preventive maintenance of wrapping my wires. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CRSJP9W?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072WC1MXT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Hope the links work as I am typing from my phone.

I will try and take some pics of the harness.

Where did you post your updates? In this thread? I don’t recall seeing them. Thank you for this.
