I am continually blown away by some of the builds viewed on this forum. I would say I am on the conservative side for spending for aftermarket accessories to my JT.

I am probably around $2k CAD...or $1500 USD

Interested to see what people estimate their aftermarket spending at? No description needed just a dollar amount...could be interesting poll?

Lol....I haven't even got mine yet. I'll be spending more than I need to I'm sure. Thinking lift, bumpers, bed rack, winch, lockers, damn what am I forgetting tires, wheels, does RTT count? overlanding trailer I will be building. Jeep alone 6k+ overlanding set up..... guessing another 4k or so.

$700 on Willy’s takeoff wheels and tires, $600 rustproofing, $200 tonneau cover, maybe $100 misc.

Slow build....

I’m past 10k already. There are a few more things that I want to get done... fenders, rear bumper, and change out my mopar performance rails to sliders, then upgrade my system.

Definitely in the $10k crew and regretting adding that up in my head now.

Really not that hard to do though... Cap, rack, bumper, winch, lift, skids, tires, and lights with a Switch Pros have me well over and I'm not even halfway to the final state.

$20k. Initial budget was $10k. Most likely end up around $30k... owning a Jeep has always been a childhood dream. Finally owning own and have a certain vision purpose with my build. Very blessed that I can build it out eh way I want.

Definitely over $20k so far.
Just received today my updated GMRS radio setup. Add another $500 to the Jeep. The build seems to never end.

I'd have to sit down & do the math on everything to know exactly, but I am easily well over 10k.. Hell I got that into my axles alone with labor. Lift, beadlocks, fenders, tire's & so many other things that came 1-200 at a time. Upgrades have slowed down. Only a few big things left. Brakes (2k) seats (700-1000 depending on weather I replace the upholstery or just add covers), Radio (1200-3000 depending on an 8.4 upgrade from my 7" or going straight to the Alpine).

Just spent almost $600 on car washing stuff (a pressure washer and a crap load of chemical brother product that I don't know what to do with) cause I don't know how to wash a muddy Jeep.
I'm trying to keep it under 10k. Still gotta get the Bestop soft topper, sliders and some lights.

Edit: forgot to add. I'm probably around 7k and about 4 weeks of ownership. Really wheels tires lift and compressor system takes the bulk of that budget. Got an inexpensive tonneau to hold me over til bestop twill topper is available. Oops. Forgot to add fridge and slide. So that's over $8k totalled. I voted for 5-10k but it looks like it'll be over 10k after sliders, topper and lights. Wow. Wish I didn't tally it up. Bought most of the gear during the almost 3 month wait for delivery. Time well spent lol. And I'm having a blast.

I'm just over $5k...
$2k to set it up as a toad, including all the towing stuff,
$800 for better wheels & tires,
and the rest, well...

My Rubicon just got built so I still have a few weeks to go, but so far it's looking like the list is about $5k+

Mopar lift kit, screen protector, jack base, black lug nuts, wheel locks
AEV Borah's & rings
BFG's or some other kind of tire I haven't looked into yet
Tazer JL/JT

Maybe a supercharger down the road but after my S2000 gets boost first.

2000+ and counting on 45k vehicle. I got this because the bronco was too pricey. And look at me now....

I still need a headliner for the hardtop. It really does add up.not to mention the pressure washer electric I'm contemplating. Because it's a pia to wash this jeep. So many nooks and crannies .i can never get it Clean

I'm in the $5K-$10K club but the number just keeps rising.
